Before you purchase, please take a look at the image of the sole of the shoe. On the heel, there is a cup. This cup clicks and pops as you walk (trapping and releasing air). I thought it might stop over time or be how I was walking, but in the end I had to return them due to the noise it was making.

i haven't purchased a pair of Nike shoes in almost 10 years, because they tend to run small/narrow and I wear a size 15 4E. These shoes, fortunately for me, fit perfectly. Plenty of room in the toe box, where most other styles tend pinch my feet. I wish Nike would offer more colors and styles in a 4E width. I have been limited to New Balance, Asics, and Brooks for the past decade. These shoes may be the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. Anyone with a wide foot shouldn't have any concern with the Nike Lunar Converge.

I haven't had much luck in the running shoe department recently, but I stumbled upon these and have not regretted it once. These shoes are light, breatheable, and fit very well for size 15 (moderately wide). I was skeptical about the "suction cup" bottom, but have not experienced any issues with noise or instability. I'd buy this one again.

Great shoe! For me the "air bubble" on the bottom wasn't a problem and didn't make any noise. For a person with wide feet, this was a great athletic shoe for me.

Overall a decent shoe and true to description -- mid-range light (not ultra light or overly heavy), balanced (not pronate/supinate biased) - and durable. HOWEVER, whoever designed the Lunar series made the shoe tread with gaps such that small pebbles constantly get stuck in the base of the shoe as you run. Extremely irritating. Any pebble roughly 1 cm x 1 cm will get stuck and you may find 5-10 stuck in the tread after any given run -- say you happen to run by a construction site doing some re-graveling. I'm fairly certain that Nike never bothered to test these shoes with actual runners other than on a track. Duh.

Nike brand is always quality. Good shoe for the price.

Bought these for my son as a Christmas gift. He has wide feet and a high arch. These shoes were not listed as a wide width shoe, but my son says they fit his feet well and are a very comfortable everyday shoe.

Nice shoe but not as nice as the under armour speedform gemini 2.1! These are a cheap imitation! Go for the UA brand.

Bought these for my husband and he loves them. He usually wears a size 10 in Nike and these 10 fit true to size. Great style with dark jeans when he wants to be comfortable and it finishes the look nicely.

Bought these for my 12 year old for running shoes. He says they are very comfortable and look cool too.

My husband wears a size 15 shoe, so sometimes they are difficult to come by with comfort and style. He loves these and says they are the most comfortable tennis shoes he has ever worn. He has not had an issue with a noise or air pocket with these shoes either.

I did not experience the noise the other reviewer complained of, walking on varied surfaces, except once, when my soles had gotten slightly wet, then walked on a smooth surface; it is not a problem. Super-comfortable for everyday walking, but vigorous walking over a 5k distance highlighted that, for me, the sole is a bit flat-bottomed. Overall, I'm happy with the shoes.

It's very hard to find a wide show that is comfortable and looks good. This shoes is both and I do love them. Only complaint is that air bubble issue on the heal. Only had them for a week now. Didn't do it at first. Just started the other day. Hopefully it goes away after some use.

I never thought i'd fit into a Nike with my 4E foot, but this shoe really is wide enough, and SUPER cushy. very comfortable. I didn't feel it had much stability though on the inside edge, so if you pronate a lot, might want to check out a sturdier shoe. but overall, very impressed

Good looking shoe. Weird step placement, rolls awkwardly at times while cross training . Not huge support but very comfortable. Wouldn't wear for high impact workouts

Great looking shoe! They do run a bit narrow so either add a half size or buy a wider shoe.

I would not buy these shoes again. They are comfortable and look nice BUT HAVE A DESIGN FLAW!! The heel has a pocket/indent/cup. When you walk on hard surfaces it creates suction and the heel makes a popping noise! I ran through Midway Airport and people looked at me as I ran due to this noise. It is almost like wearing a flip flop and clicking the heel on your foot. Poor design. Do not buy.

Like them, but the arches are too high for me and are kinda far back.

The sole of this sneaker has a round hole in the heel. This acts as a suction cup, making the sneakers stick to certain surfaces. This is more than a little irritating. So while in all other aspects it is a very comfortable shoe, Nike has obviously not tested this shoe in a day-to-day setting. If sneaker companies issued recalls, this model would be going back.

I’ve been using the Nike Runflex for a few years and love them, and so I thought this would be a similar shoe; it’s not. My left foot is ok, but my right foot feels constrained, and my arch hurts during the first ten minutes of running, which doesn’t make an enjoyable running shoe. Also, the bottom cushion have a circular indent that traps air when walking on solid surfaces, so you make this “pop” suction sound when walking on s9id surfaces like stone or flat tile. They look cool, but not a good running shoe for me.

Good sneaker but it has a MAJOR FLAW IN ITS DESIGN!! The sole of this shoe has an indent on the heel designed as a shock absorber. The only issue is on hard, flat surfaces, this design suctions to the floor and your shoes will make popping noises as you walk. It is extremely annoying. I would not recommend these shoes, they are annoying to walk in.
