We bought these shoes to finish out spring until we can get to sandal weather. They are very wide as I suspect are some other Sketcher's shoes. My daughter has a true medium width foot and we have to Velcro these shoes past the cloth part of the shoe and over to the sole. If it weren't for the Velcro straps, we would have had to returned them. They really are cute and because of the strap adjustment we can wear them for now. I have washed them a couple of times in the washing machine to clean them up and they are always previewed and have not been harmed by the machine.
