Clearly, based on our experience and some other reviewers--there is a sizing issue with this shoe. I suspect that instead of a kids size, an adult size 4 has been marked as child because this shoe was 2 inches too long and about half inch too wide. I had to return a different Converse Hi-top style size 3.5 because it was too small. This one was way too large. My daughter absolutely loves the look of this shoe but I am hesitant to order in another size given the range of reviews in terms of size.

Sneakers are beautiful and very comfy except they run 2 sizes bigger then advertised. Size 6 is more like size 8. 5 stars rating is for quality but sizing is wrong.

Shoes look great! But the sizing is much bigger than her other size 2 shoes. I'll have to reorder in a 1.5 instead.

Way too big (ordered kids 2, might be more like a 3-4). Sadly my daughter loves the look so much she won't let me return them. Also a drag to have to tie and untie them - WHAT is the point of the zippers? Wish we'd read the reviews more carefully!
