I *live* in flipflops when I'm not at work. I recently developed extremely painful plantar fasciitis and the advice I got was to wear good arch support shoes ALL THE TIME. As a previous $2 flipflop person, it HURT to have to pay $40 for FLIP FLOPS and I grumbled to myself as I opened the package.. "these darn things better be worth $40.." The are. Oh gosh they are. Sweet relief. Zappos shipping was, as usual, so fast I think they have psychics who prepare the packages before you order them.

These are really cute beach flip flops! They have more of an arch support than any other flip flop I have tried, but they don't have as much arch support as the vionic sandals. However, I will buy another pair! I normally wear a size 9 and based on other reviews, purchase a size 8 and it is perfect.

I love vionic but this a horrible shoe, the straps come in under the soul of your feet and after a short distant hurt like all get out. Great soul - but buy another voinic with the straps attaching on the side

Vionic makes super comfortable shoes. Nowhere is this more important than in sandals and open shoes where you can't add your own arch support. I bought these flip-flops for a beach vacation and I was very pleased. The pattern on the footbed made them super cute and they were definitely the most comfy flip-flop I have ever worn. The contoured footbed with good arch support made walking a pleasure.

I love Vionic shoes,but these flip flops were horrible. It felt like I was wearing a cheap pair of flip flops. The arch support is not up to Vionic standards.

Had to send back the size 8 for a 7. They measure exactly 10 inches from tip to heel. My normal shoe size is 8.5 FYI. If you don't get the right size, the arch support won't work. These are strictly for beach or pool, not long walks! That being said, they are adorable! I got the peacock print. I wish I could buy them all!

I am extremely disappointed with this shoe. I've had other Vionic that worked well for me with my plantar fasciitis but not these. I wanted a cute pair of flip flops for wearing on the beach and to the pool. These shoes look really cute. However, the top is plastic - just like the $2 flip flops from Walmart, which, to my mind, is not OK for this price point. Plus, I could tell the plastic would rub between my toes. Also, the bottom was not that supportive or comfortable - the "arch support" felt more like a hard ball under my foot.

These are cute looking but so wearer unfriendly. The two back portions of the thong wrap under your foot so you're actually standing on them! Painful!! I so wish Vionic had never bought out Orthaheel. They changed the perfect footbed that was the signature of Orthaheel giving it less support. Yes, they have many more cute styles to offer but for those of us with real foot problems who relied on the original footbed it's a big disappointment.

I'm returning these. Love the vitronics, but these feel cheap and have very little support. Will be going back to the more substantial flip flops from them.

This flip flop was a full 3/4 inch longer than a similar shoe in the same size. Way too long for me. In the first photo, the pale pink women's size 11 Vionic sandal is shown underneath a purple Havaianas flip flop of the same size. The heels of the shoes are aligned, and the Vionic sandal extends far beyond the size 11 Havaianas, 3/4 inch to be exact. In the second photo, the shoe extends far beyond my heel even though this is the size I wear in other shoes.

Horrible. Cheaply made. The straps connect to the shoe under the foot bed so you walk on them every step. Very uncomfortable. Very disappointing.

Terribly uncomfortable. They hit on a spot on my foot. Couldn't wear them, had to give them away.

These are adorable and I wanted them to be comfortable, but they hurt! The straps near the heel or back of the flip flop are too close together and they dig into your foot!! Too bad!!!

These are so terribly uncomfortable. The straps are too short, so they hug onto my foot too closely, which makes the toe post rub on my toes, and it causes blisters. They're very cute, which is great because other Vionic shoes are quite homely, but the pain and discomfort just isn't worth it. Such a waste of my money!

Love these! I live in these in the summer! comfortable and the arch support I need! I walked all on vacation touring cities in these!

I am so happy with these flip flops. After a year of plantar fasciitis I couldn't risk that pain returning and needed an arch support sandal. I have worn these to the beach and also for walking. I try to avoid long walks in sandals now, but when I forgot walking shoes and did a few miles in these, my feet have felt great. I like the somewhat tight straps because they hold the sandal on firmly; if they were stretchy or attached differently the shoe would flop more and the foot would be working to hold on to the shoe - part of why flip-flops can really wreck my feet. But these stay put. I found the rubber foot bed very firm at first but softened up while staying supportive through the summer. And they're cute too!

Love these! Had given up wearing flip flops due to plantar fasciitis in both feet but am having no trouble wearing these. They are comfortable and stylish. I typically where an 8 1/2 shoe and the size 8 flip flop fit perfectly.

Perfect for people who suffer from plantar fascitis and aren't able to find comfortable and appropriate flip flops!

I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and lymphedema in the other foot, I need the support provided by these shoes, I ordered 1 pair to wear outside, & another pair to use as my slippers indoors, I can't go barefoot, I love the color, the navy w/pink is neutral, lovely

if you want the look of a rubber flip flop but also need an arch, these are the shoes for you!! so happy i found these! I ordered other vionic shoes and found the arch to be too high (i know that is the point, but i guess my foot dont need such a high arch) these have good arch support for those who cannot wear flat shoes

I just got these today! I love them, but they're too long! I'm so sad, cuz they're sold out! I got my normal size 9 & they're just too long! I need size 8. It says 9-9.5 on the shoe! :(

I got a pair of these today and I am SO in love! An affordable flip flop with an arch support! WOO HOO! I'm going to buy every color!

Love, feels great on the foot and easy to clean. I would love the straps a little bit wider and would be 5 stars.
