I purchased the Arquette boot and unfortunately I'm very disappointed. My friends have been raving about how warm and dry their Ugg boots are. I have not experience this. The first day I wore my boots the weather was 20 degrees felt a bit of chill but thought nothing of it. I wore my boots again in 20 degrees weather with a thin trouser sock and had to go buy another pair of socks. Today I wore my boots after the NYC snow storm my feet were ice cold by the time I arrived to work. I'm so disappointed because I really wanted some good winter boots.

I like everything about these; the look, the lining, the zipper, except that the shaft circumference is so narrow I could never hope to fit them. I have "muscular" calves,, and these are narrow even for narrow boots. We took them back to the store and they wouldn't even give my husband a refund, store credit only. It took me 2 hours on the site to find a pair that were exactly what I was looking for.. Now I'm stuck with a store credit that I'll need to blow on somethings that I kind of like.. Ugg is very expensive.. Which I will gladly pay when it's for things that I LOVE. I don't want to pay $$$ for things that I kind of like. Sooo,, sorry, it's also a customer service review, not just a product review. The product was beautiful.

I was looking forward to these for winter in NE yet I am so dissapointed. They fit a half size too big and feel swimmy on my feet which agrivate my ankles constant run-up and down also, I don't find them to be as warm as the traditional UGG. It's misleading seeing the wool on top, it stops at that point and switches to a thin padded material, which is doing the rubbing I dislike so much. I would exchange however I have already sealed them with my own protector. Just wanted to give a real review for others that may run into the same issues. Order half size smaller and you should be OK . That's just my opinion .

Extremely uncomfortable around ankle area. Not padded where the base of the boot is constructed, therefore leaving an area of roughness inside boot that causes sore ankles - you need to buy mole skin to protect your ankles. Not a good design for lots of walking. Cute boot, too bad it's not designed for comfort.

The only thing great about this boot is the attractiveness. I bought it to wear in London for a December trip. It was poorly made for comfort. Around the base of the boot up to the ankle area, there is a metal product concealed inside support of the boot. There is no padding around the top edge of where the metal is bordered by stitching. So as you walk for 5-10 min. the top edge of the metal support starts rubbing your ankles to the point of causing pain on both sides of the ankle area. The only way you can get around the defect of this boot, and to make them comfortable, you need to put mole skin on the area where the metal edge rubs against your anke area. It's a poor design and I would not recommend anyone to buy this.
