My 11 year old "soon to be Major Leaguer" son saw email I received from the Los Angeles Dodgers at the end of 2016 season. He wanted to build his own custom new balance metal cleats and get them for Christmas. So he spent an hour "designing" and they came just in time for Christmas. Wrap them up he open the map probably just played them to the entire family and proceeded to wear them as spring practice started up again in January 2017. He played so much ball this season, we had to order another pair. This time he designed them a little bit differently. We got them today and he wore them to baseball practice tonight! Not that these were out he just wore them so much and he's grown from size 8 to size 9 in six months. This kids going to be a big boy

These were for my 12yr old son. True baseball nut, loves the feel and look. Next pair will be customized he goes to metal cleats next year. I can just imagine how nuts he'll go with a pair of custom cleats.

My son swears by these. Cleats are not comfortable to wear usually but he says these are the only ones who he can stand wearing for tournament weekends.

My son has a wide foot. It's not an easy find. New Balance is one of the few companies that cater to athletes with wide feet. My son slipped them on and said they were a perfect fit. I'll be ordering a second pair for the season.

My son has not worn them for a game yet, but said they fit great and that he really loves them. He has wide thick feet and New Balance is a shoe and cleat that fits well, with comfort. They always work for him!

My son is tough to fit because of his wide foot. New Balance is the only brand that consistently produces wide shoes, and he is particularly happy with these.

Happy with the return to plastic baseball cleats with New Balance. The look and feel first caught my attention and surprised with the good comfort and traction on the playing surface with these cleats.

These cleats are so comfortable. My feet never hurt after wearing them. They provide great support, and there is no "breaking in" period like there is with some other brands. I've worn New Balance every day for a long time now, and I have never gotten a blister or had any issue. They fit true to size and are not too narrow or too wide.

Our son is 5-4, 160lbs and all of 11, very hard to find comfortable baseball cleats, especially even more so when he happens to have wide feet..and flat footed. All that and he plays catcher, roughest baseball position for feet in baseball. Wears a size 8.5 in a 2E width...loves them! Also uses NB 4040v3 Turf shoes for indoors all for the same reasons.

After trying several different cleats from a number of manufacturers, I finally found some that fit! I wear a 13 4E In every new balance shoe I have ever worn over the last 15 years. I simply could not find a shoe in any brand that was wide enough to be comfortable. I finally came across this cleat in a 2E and it fits just fine and has even stretched a bit to be about perfect. Cleats grip very well.

Bought these for my 10yr old that is transitioning to mens sizing. Possibly a little large, but overall fit and comfort seemed fine. However we found the cleat part a bit tall making him unstable. Youth cleats seem to have a lower profile cleat that are more rubber in texture. These cleats are a hard plastic that were very slippery when walking on hard surfaces. I'm sure with a little breaking in they would be fine but my kid looked like he was wearing high heels for the first time.

These are my son's cleats. The cleats unexpectedly wore out on the right shoe, but NB replaced them free of charge. Must have been a defect because this pair is great.

These aren't quite as attractive as they are in the picture but seem like a solid cleat. Great that New Balance offers wide width. These seem like they will hold up well over the long run.

My son loves the wide new balance shoes. So glad that they are making a plastic baseball cleat so that he can be comfortable during the season. Last season we had to use a different brand and he said they were not as comfortable as these.

I ordered both the 3000 and 4040 because I couldn't tell the difference on the website. The 4040 fit me better. Im an 11 regular. The 4040 seemed to have more support than the 3000. Both were equally comfortable but the 4040 seemed to have more arch support and didn't slip on my heel like the 3000. Both appear well made and cushiony for baseball cleats which is what I was looking for as a softball player getting up in my 40s Im all about comfort!

I bought these cleats for my son. They seem fine but he has a really wide foot. Even the wide width size was not wide enough. So when I went up a size it was too long for him. I would say the Easton cleats are better for really wide feet. I was hoping to find some at Zappos but they don't have them. Sad face. Sadly I have to actually go to a store to buy him his cleats. Please Zappos start carrying Easton cleats!!

This shoe is not wide. Also wide size appears to be a full size longer than standard. Very odd.

First I tried a different NB spike at 6.5 2E. It was too narrow and seemed a little short. It didn't come in a 7 so I tried this in a 7 2E. The length was fine but the width was more narrow than the other pair. These had to have been a B maybe a C width even though they were marked 2E. New Balance is either getting cheap or there standards are slipping.

I have had 3 previous pairs of these cleats and loved them. However the quality is not the same. My new cleats do not have any cushion after wearing for less than 2 weeks. My old pair still have better cushion than the new pair. Disappointed and uncomfortable.
