Beautiful and comfortable BUT NOT WATERPROOF as advertised. Both boots leaked badly during recent snow storm.....a great disappointment. Unusable in bad weather which was sole reason for purchase.

I bought these shoes in sizes 7.5 and 8 and only tried them indoors. Both sizes fit but the 8 accommodated my wide feet a bit more. Had they made a 7.5 wide width that would have been perfect. There's a lot to like about the shoes: they're light, they seem warm and they're fashionable. I'm sending them back because they don't work with my wide feet. Going up in size helps a tiny bit but there's too much room in the front of the shoe. I found the arch support to be low to moderate.

Love Merrell everything but this boot fits SMALL. If you have wide calves you can forget getting this boot on. I usually wear a 9 in my 20 some pairs of Merrells... but since I was going to wear socks, I got a half size up. It wasn't even close to fitting.

Sent them back due to the zippers being difficult to open and close - zipper did not slide well at all. Boots seemed difficult to put on. Got these in bracken color. Overall a nice looking boot and color, except the brown leather stain looked to be applied a bit splotchy/uneven. They seemed like they would be comfortable to walk in.

I just got them today but I love them already. They are stylish but not for real dressy use. Great for everything else. I live in upstate NY so I'll be wearing them soon. I'll update my review after wearing them in the snow. I wear 8.5 and ordered 8.5. They fit perfectly with a medium weight sock.... there is room for a heavier sock as well but may be a bit tight. I also have a wide foot but they are quite comfortable....not snug at all.

I am so disappointed and sincerely hope that this boot is an anomaly. I've loved Merrell shoes and boots for years; if this were my first purchase it would be my last. The style is not as pictured. The workmanship is poor. The material feels inferior and the fit and feel of the boot is awful.

Zippers very hard to pull and a tight fit. Merrell boots are my favorites, just not this style.

Really like this boot. I ordered two colors but I had trouble getting my heel in one. The bracken color fit the best so I am keeping that one. I have been buying the Merrill brand for years and have never had a problem with fit before.

Overall these boots fit well. The only item I had trouble with is the size zipper. The first couple of times I wore them, it took a while for the zipper to loosen up to zip up. But so far they fit pretty good!

These boots were cute and seemed warm comfortable, but were too narrow for my feet. (I don't usually wear wide shoes, but probably have somewhat wider than average feet.) Sad that they weren't a little wider.

Boot felt a little small for an extra sock which I need for warmth. Loved the style, will try in a half size larger.

Boot had great support but shaft of boot was very stiff and I felt it with every step I took. I was looking for a boot similar to UGG boots with better support but this won't work.

Great style, nice flat foot bed, far too narrow for wearing with a pair of wool socks. Love the look, but have to return.

I am very unhappy with these boots. Cute, fit well, stayed dry BUT very cold. I had to stand in 20 degree temperatures for 20 minutes and my feet were freezing! I might have guessed this to be true as they have NO visible insulation but I had no time to try them out. Leaving for Norway... Very disappointed!

As with others who wrote, my foot is very narrow and these boots were still too narrow. I also agree that the way it is constructed, it restricts the movement of the arch, hence presses the top of the foot. Not comfortable.

The boot is very flat across the entire top of the foot, kinda like Daffy Duck's beak. I have a narrow foot and it fits snugly. If you don't have a narrow foot, don't consider this boot. Also, the boot is cut way too far forward in the instep. (You can see a little bit in the picture.) Feels very strange to walk in. It is made of very good material, but the boot is not cut right - don't even try it.

Gave this as a gift to my wife. She asked to have it returned. She said the boot was too stiff and she felt like she could not bend her ankle. Also, it felt too narrow and difficult to put on though they were the correct size.

Could not get my foot into the boot, so never discovered if it was wide enough. Zipper did not help.
