I love the boot but I'm a 9 and ordered a 9. It was too small even without socks. Waiting on my 9.5 replacement.

Great looking boot, nice leather, loved the look. Horrible design, with no zipper for ease of taking on and off. It took me so long to squeeze my foot into them, I couldn't imagine doing that every time, and I ordered a half size up. Normally take 6, ordered 6.5. If they were redesigned to have a zipper, I would reconsider.

I wanted to like this boot so very much. And once I got it on, it was great. But it was so hard to pull over my heel. There weren't any straps on top to pull up with, and I just couldn't push hard enough to get it it easily. Finally got it on one foot, but never could get it on the other. Once it was past the super narrow part it was very comfortable. But I can't imagine struggling THAT much to get boots on everytime I want to wear them. And even if it will loosen over time, I wasn't sure I'd ever get my feet in and out often enough to wear them to the point of loosening. So as much as I wanted to be able to wear them, I had to return them. :-(

I have several pair of Frye boots and almost cried at how poorly these fit because it's the only thing I asked for for Christmas. Everyone says Frye run small. I don't think they do from a length perspective, every pair has fit my size 10 feet with plenty of toe room, but they are always snug to start out. These were so tight it was ridiculous. I could get them on, which when you wear a larger size can be challenging, and it was a challenge, but I had to have someone grab them to get them off. I literally could not get them off myself they were so tight. NO touted super arch support. I thought with them being lined in leather they would be the best pair yet. Save yourself the money. "Lined in leather" and an inch taller is not worth $200. Get a pair of Veronica Shorts for almost half the price. Out of all the pairs I have, those are still the most comfortable ones yet. For $400, I'm not rolling the dice on breaking them in. Every other pair has been amazing right out of the box.

Heels are too hard and won't break in. Worn several times and get blisters on heels.

I bought these boots about a month ago. I've worn them only a handful of times for mild city walking (to the subway and into the office) and the soles are already needing a trip to the shoe repair. Additionally, the boots are far less structured than the picture implies.

Size 10 are really a 9.5, yet loose in the ankle, and there is no 10.5. I am aware they break in, but my foot pushed over the seem, too small period. This usually happens with lesser quality shoes. The style is also different than it seemed in pictures, thought the toe was more rounded and the foot of the boot would look more solid. Arrived with a small scuff right out of the box. Done wasting time on Fryes, people seem to love them but they must be going downhill.
