I walked for many miles in these during a recent trip to Europe. They held up very nicely and provided a lot of support for my feet. They can be worn with the bungee drawn snug. Or, you can leave the bungee slack and they will still stay on, like slip-ons. Lightweight.

I love this item but the design makes the shoe unwearable. The tongue attaches to the shoe in a way that requires a fold right at the arch. The fild - which is hard - sticks right into my foot. I've tried two pairs. Both the same.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I was looking for a waterproof slip on sneaker that I can use for work, light hiking, some rainy days, etc. And I generally love ECCO shoes and have been wearing them for years. But, this model is not a good representation of the ECCO brand. The footbed seemed a bit too hard and not very comfortable, especially on my left foot. And the bridge of the foot was too tight causing numbness in my toes after wearing for a few hours at home. I chose the exact same size I always wear with ECCOs so I am surprised by this fit. I returned and am now starting to considering other brands other than ECCO after a couple of disappointing purchases in the past year.

Very happy with these shoes! The only thing that is bothersome about these shoes, and its not for being mis-informed because I read about this same complaint but still went ahead and purchased them, is the tongue of the left shoe. The way it folds inward, pinches the top of my foot. After about 30 minutes of wearing them, I dont even notice it any longer...but this could be a issue for someone who is sensitive. Overall though, I absolutely love these shoes! They slip right on with ease and off equally with the same ease. Totally comfortable to walk in (minus the initial pinch) with a very durable rugged feel. I purchased these for a trip back east, where the weather was in single digits with some rain and these shoes totally held up, kept my feet warm and comfortable...minus the pinch of course, lol.

I'm planning a trip to Europe and of course, a lot of walking is planned. During my last trip to Europe, I completely misplanned and my feet got soaked. But not this time. These shoes fit great right out of the box. The size was spot on. It seems I wear a 10 to 10.5 US depending on the manufacturer...I can't wait to walk the streets of Paris and Amsterdam...

Honestly, this buying experience was everything I don't like about Zappos. 1/ Nowhere nearby sells a decent range of Eccos any more because of competition from online shopping. 2/ The picture on the website was misleading - the nasty little toggle thing that tightens the laces was hidden under the tongue of the shoe in the photo. 3/ The the first pair I ordered arrived, they were faulty, so i sent them back. Also, the colour in reality didn't look like the colour on my screen, so i went for a different colour. 4/ When the replacement pair arrived, I don't think I liked the colour more than the first pair - but who knows, as i never got to see them side-by-side.

I thought this shoe would be a good alternative to a trail running shoe but I soon learned that was a big mistake. These shoes are good for light walking or for easy around-the-house chores. First thing I did was replace the cheap insole. All my other Ecco shoes came with a supportive and comfortable insole but not this shoe. I used them backpacking in the high Sierras last week and found them very uncomfortable, lacking any support. I probably should have looked for a shoe with a stiffer sole. The sole also on these shoes lack any traction and found myself slipping often.

Over the years I have purchased many pairs of Ecco shoes and they have always been of high quality and the fit has been very good for me. While I really liked the style of these shoes, they did not fit well at all. They were much too narrow, much more narrow than any other Ecco's I have purchased, and I returned them for this reason.

The top of these shoes actually hurts your foot. Once the laces are pulled tight, there is also the excess hanging loose. Just an awful, weird design. Don't order

Ecco quality control needs to do a better job on double checking their manufacturing on this shoe. I'm not the only one with the too uncomfortable to wear feeling, especially in the right shoe bed, where the "receptor" strips are built in. Mind you that the left shoe did wasn't comfortable either, and I gave them about 2 months of wear around the house and to the grocery store to break them in. Considering that this is the only pair of Ecco shoes that I've given a "breaking-in" period. I did so because the style is excellent. On every other pair of Ecco shoes I've bought, they have met my rule of " If it isn't comfortable the 1st time I try them on, I don't buy them. " Can't win them all! Zappos Customer Service is Top Notch. They were very understanding in accepting the return, and as advertised, they paid for the shipping. Thanks Zappos !

I didn’t receive what I ordered. I was sent a similar shoe- not the one I wanted.

Not a soft shoe with low arch support. It does a good job supporting my feet. Stable.

I grabbed the box with the shoes inside, and immediately felt the lighter weight compared to the last pair of shoes I ordered. I had never bought a pair with the elastic shoestrings, but not a problem. My feet slipped right into the shoes like a glove. I've worn them for three straight days and they are awesome! My feet are slightly wider than normal, and these shoes are 11-11.5. A perfect fit!

This is one of the most comfortable and best fitting shoes I’ve ever owned. It’s sober enough to wear to office and sturdy enough to spend the whole day walking around in the city. I also like that it’s quick to put on without having to tie the laces.

I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable. These Eccos feel great, very comfortable, Good cushioning, and easy to slip on and off. Zappos is the best!

My husband loves ECCOs and these are no exception. They look great on him and he wears them with his own orthotics. It's nice because ECCO footpads are removable for people like him. GREAT styles of shoes that work time after time. This is my favorite look so far and he has lots of ECCOs.

Yep, after many years I had to retire a beloved pair of Eccos, thinking how hard it would be to find a suitable replacement, I decided to give these a try. Love them. I walk quite a bit during the day and these are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned.

These are great shoes. My husband who is picky and hard to fit, was wearing them right away straight from the box. They're stylish, functional, and true to size.

I wore these shoes during my recent trip to Rome, walking 8-12 miles a day on cobblestone streets. I wore them in heavy rain and they kept my feet dry. They are very light, comfortable a stylish. These are now my favorite shoes.

Great fit and they are comfortable. the best foot wear that i ever had.

I tried hard to like this shoe as I couldn't find the Ecco that I was trying to replace. I'd be okay with it if I could keep them snug all day. Buying shoes with elastic shoelaces should mean that I don't have to adjust them very often. I always felt like I was cinching them down because they never felt secure on my feet.

I purchased the shoes so that I could wear them to a conference and then do some light hiking. They worked out well on both scores. Initially, I was concerned that they felt a bit big, but when I wore them with hiking socks and became more adept at tightening the laces they problem was largely resolved. One issue though is that the laces are exceedingly long so that I have to tuck them under the bottom loop and then in the top loop to keep them from flopping about. The shoes are stylish enough for an academic conference and I was comfortable hiking in them on dessert and rocky terrain.
