Bought my actual size 7,felt a little large, other reviewers noted also. Ordered Powerstep Comfortlast Insoles - at same time to put inside - ahhh - perfect fit now! Gives great support with the insoles. I bought these because one of my PT jobs is standing, all day, stadium concrete floor. Had sneakers and clogs before, so time to try Dr. Martens! No laces, which is great. Wore first time out to an Oktoberfest with a dress, they looked good, first wearing no breaking in needed, leather soft, very comfortable. Made in Thailand, thought UK, hope quality lasts.

These boots are awesome....but they are huge. They looked more like a men's size 7 than a women's size 7. I'm reluctant to order a smaller size because they were so big. I'm bummed to have to return them.

These boots are amazing! I bought my daughter a pair and tried them on and just had to have my own pair. They run a tiny bit large so if you are in between sizes, order down. Very comfortable and stylish!

I get so many compliments every time I wear these! I absolutely love them! I did have to get one size smaller than usual.

These. Are. So. Rad. As my first pair of Docs, I'm still breaking them in and getting used to walking and bike riding in them, but I feel very sturdy in these and am looking forward to walking the slushy, icy sidewalks soon and NOT slipping. I'm normally a US 8.5 and went with the UK 6, which feel to me about as large as a US 9. Two pairs of wool socks, medium Smartwool crew socks and Chrome ankle socks, do the trick, though, which was what I was hoping for. One thing I'm definitely not used to is the weight of these — I brought up bike riding because my legs get tired more easily when I'm wearing them. No complaints, it'll help me get stronger! I look forward to wearing these for a long, long time.

I love these boots! I wear a 9-9.5M normally so I ordered them in a UK7, but that was a bit too large; my heels slid out too easily. I exchanged for a UK6 and now they are comfortable. The representative who handled the exchange was super nice, and I had the new pair in two days.

I am loving the slip on Docs since getting old and cranky. I am no longer interested in the extended lace-up routine, so slip-ons have been my hero. I bought the Lead color. I am a little put off by the difference in color between the shoe and the slouch cuff, but not enough to make me dislike the boot. Definitely Dr. Martens. Comfortable, need to be broken in, ready to rock and roll.

Love these! I am between a size 7 and 8, so I went with the 8 which is actually a little big, but with two pairs of socks they feel great. I found the size to be comparable to my other Dr. Martens.

Great looking, but runs large. Good if you have large calf, but still order a size down.

Really comfortable, very wide boot shaft, and feels very sturdy. They're not work-appropriate enough for me, so they have to go back.

I am a US 8.5/9 (closer to a 9). I originally ordered the 9, but exchanged them for the 8 (which still felt too big). I have pretty wide feet, and there was plenty of room left inside. Someone with narrow feet would probably need inserts. I thought the style of the boot was cute, but it still felt too big and sloppy for me. If you have wide feet in the toebox area like I do, you might like these. If you have narrow feet, these may not work well for you. Definitely order a size down from your standard American size. if you have thinner ankles/calves, these boots will look very loose on you. I would consider my ankles and calved of average diameter, and these boots were sloppy loose on me.

I was looking for a work boot that was a bit more stylish than your typical work boot. I really like the style of these. They actually look even better in person. Since there were no previous reviews for this specific boot, I read other Dr. Martens reviews and went with my normal size, which is an 8. The problem with these boots is that the shaft portion is so tight, I couldn't even get my foot in the boot! Around the ankle was so tight. I even loosened up the straps to the last hole and still struggled. I did manage to get my foot into the boot, after much effort and cursing, and they did fit a bit snug. It felt just too small, and I wouldn't want to have to go through that effort at 5am each morning, trying to get my work boots on. Not to mention the struggle to get them off... No thank you. These are going back. Too bad, because they really are super cute.
