I have VERY picky feet with a wide toe area... think Hobbit without the hair (almost that wide). I have also had issues with ankle bands. These shoes were comfy from the moment I put them on. There is an ever so slight tug that I think will stretch out/relax. I ordered an 8 but they were way too big and long. The 7.5 are perfect although most of my shoes are size 8. The foot bed is cushioned and the platform reduces the heel height to YEAH COMFORT level! I have never bought the same shoe in more than one color, but I am seriously considering getting this shoe in navy.

This shoe is terrific: very comfortable, soft leather that does not rub at all, and quite good looking, with a nice, padded foot base that makes me feel -almost-like I am walking in comfy slippers. I'm completely happy. Bought two pair (black and tan), and glad I did. Put one on and wore for 5 hours straight, no problem. They run true to size. I was worried about rubbing at the ankle--I've never had a high strap before--but I fastened it loosely, which seemed to be the thing to do to walk easily, and it doesn't rub at all and I could walk quite fine. These look great with jeans and more casual summer skirts and dresses. If the wedge was not jute or whatever it is, but was wood, they'd be a bit dressier, but I am very happy with this purchase. They will be work and play sandels all summer. Perfect heel height for leg lift but not at all too high, and width of heel provides stability, so I don't feel I am going to turn an ankle, etc. When Clark's get it right for me, with fit and type of leather, they are as comfortable as the very expensive comfort brands I love (Paul Green, Naot, Mephisto, etc.) This is a good value, though, given the jute, I know they won't last many years. Still--go for it. Also, stylish enough that I feel contemporary without being in-your-face about it. I'm 57, but work at a college so like to look a bit with the times.

These ar beautiful sandals! I do not normally wear any type of heel over 1 1/2 inches, but decided to give these a try! They are very comfortable and I love the peek toe look, I ordered navy to go with a dress and the color is spot on, in fact these will work with multiple outfits in my closet!

Cute & Comfortable! These gave me pause upon the first wearing as I could feel the stitching along the outer edges of the footbed. Fortunately, this stitching did not result in lasting discomfort, blisters or anything of the like. The look of these is great and they go with practically anything. My current summertime go-to!

Love them! So comfortable with wonderful cushioned insole. Want another pair but can't decide on color. Also suggested them to a friend. Make a closed toe for Winter without rope trim.

These sandals are so cute and extremely comfortable. The insole is padded and the leather is soft so it doesn't rub. I've received multiple compliments on them and am thinking about buying another pair in a different color.

I was so surprised on how comfortable and stylish this shoes are. There are very few shoes that can boast both comfort and style and they win on both accords. Not your average Clarks. I generally wear Arche or Gucci shoes and these have top billing in my closet now. They go with both jeans and dresses.

These are super comfortable. I usually wear an 8 in closed toe shoes, 7.5 in sandals and open toed shoes and have an average to narrow foot. The 7.5 fit great in these and is comfortable to walk in right from the beginning.

Best shoe I have bough in ages. So comfortable. The bed is supportive yet soft. The leather is soo soft. I could wear them every day. The only drawback is if I wear them every day the start to smell. I put them in the freezer over night and it helps.

The fit of this shoe feels true to size, and love the style of it. I love Clarks shoes, as they always fit, and have great comfort. The heel height of this shoe is perfect. I love the Nutmeg color, as it matches the trim on all of my Dooney & Bourke handbags !! I also ordered the black !! Both in size 8-M !! I couldn't be more pleased !!

I love these shoes and I'm waiting for Zappo's to get my size in other colors.....will be ordering this shoe again. Very comfortable right out of the box. I ordered wide with and have plenty of room and the strap fits my ankle very well.

Love espadrilles. I liked these because the heel was not outrageously high. I normally wear a narrow but with the ankle strap I figured they would stay on and they did. I wore them with a long denim dress, they looked great and were comfortable.

I did not expect to like these, but as it turns out, I Love them! They are beautiful in person. The red is a perfect shade of deep red, so pretty for Summer. I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2, got these in an 8 and they are perfect. The only problem I can see is that I may have to punch another hole in the strap to make them a wee bit tighter. Besides that, they really are beautiful and comfortable. Give them a try.

Extremely cute shoe and very comfy - could probably wear these to work all day. However the M width was too tight for me so I will send them back. But, I would love to keep them

These shoes are perfect for summer. The leather is soft, the heel height can be worn with anything and they are true to size. They reflect Clark's quality and I intend to buy them in black and maybe red also. I highly recommend them.

I love the wedge style, but cannot wear anything higher than 3 inches. I felt that these were fashion forward without risking spraining my ankle. I bought the nutmeg color and it seems to go well with everything. Size 9 fits true and they are very comfortable. I'm thinking about buying the navy color too.

I purchased these for my mother in law in the metallic color and she loved them! Very comfortable and cute for the upcoming summer months.

Very comfortable, navy is very nice! Tend to have trouble with sandals due to wide feet! Order the 8 wide and they fit perfect!

This shoe adds a little pizzazz and is just right! I bought in Navy Blue and Black and I love it. I don't like any shoe with a heel, but this is doable!!
