They are cute, but they are not slip ons. I'm looking for a slip on - something that looks like a tennis shoe but I can slide my foot into it. This shoe is not that - there's a tongue and laces - not a slip on.

Love these shoes. I think I need a pair in every color. They are a tiny bit roomy but not enough to go up a half size.

Great casual shoe! These are very comfortable with footie socks, go with almost everything, and are true to size (I wear a medium width women's 9). I also love that they don't make my foot look as long as traditional Vans since they stop lower on the foot.

Very cute. My first pair of Vans because I'm not a fan of the "long feet look" (I've got big enough feet as it is, without accentuating them!) They felt a tad bit tight across the top of the foot but other than that, true to size. I arranged the laces in a way that I can use these as a slip-on with some no-show socks and they're great so far. They have no arch support but coming from wearing Chucks, that's not a surprise. The footbed seems to have a slight bit more "bounce" than Converse, for what it's worth.

I love this shoe! The cut on the top is very flattering - I wear a size 9 and this shoe does a great job of making my feet look dainty, which isn't easy. There is just enough cushion in the sole. I have a narrow heel and have noticed my heels slipping out a couple of times. Thinking that putting in a heel grip will solve that issue for me.

These are probably the most comfortable Vans I've ever purchased. Nice amount of cushion for your feet and a soft, comfortable heel area. So many Vans I wore in the past gave me terrible blisters on my heels and rubbed hard on the tops of my feet. These are amazing! I wear them all day at work, where I never get to sit down and they still never bother me. They are also very flattering on my feet as well. Im ordering another color asap!

These shoes are amazingly adorable but were really uncomfortable on my feet. They definitely run small and narrow. I wear an 8, that's what i ordered, and they almost fit length wise but the toe box is so freakishly narrow, i couldn't pull it off. But, that toe box is part of what makes them so cute. I would have tried the 8.5, but is sold out in gray. Makes me sad, I will be sending them back. I tried the Palladium flex ballet, which works much better for my wide-ish forefoot.

These are perfect!! They go with everything and are extremely comfortable. Run a tiny bit large (I am a size 5), but nothing terrible that prevent me from wearing them. I have very long toes and find that my feet look super odd in most flats, which make my feet look strangely large. These don't do that at all. Great to walk in, these are one of my favorites.

Very comfortable. Walked all over Washington D.C. in them without any discomfort!

These are so amazing, I don't like regular vans because they come up too high on my foot and make it look longer. These are shorter in the front and so comfortable because they have this cushion inside. I didn't ever used to wear closed toed shoes but I have these in almost every color.

These shoes are really cute. I love Vans and I've owned many pairs, so I was excited to try this more feminine style. The gray color is nice, and you do need to lace and tie the shoes.Unfortunately, this style is more narrow in the toe box than typical Vans, and was not comfortable for me, so back they go.

They run a little big. I thought from the picture that they would be slip-ons, but the laces require tying, so they look different than pictured because of the tie. Kind of misleading. They are cute, but I like the ones in the website picture better. (I attached a pic of mine below.) Also, the material is not very comfortable. They would definitely require some sort of little, thin sock.

This shoe is a nice slip-on option for casual wear. It's comfortable and looks nice.

Really love these shoes, they feel great on my feet. I am a size 5, they are pretty true to size if not slightly large (my feet are wide in front and very narrow in the back though). Super comfortable, and they really look great with almost everything.

I think the style of these shoes is very cute for occasions when I don't want to wear flip flops. This is the second pair I have purchased. I have a light gray colored pair, also. I love the, but they are a little difficult to keep clean. My biggest problem is finding no-show socks that don't slide off while wearing them! They do tend to run a little large. I don't mind that and I would still order my regular size. I certainly don't want shoes that pinch anywhere.

This is my second pair of vans. I wore my first pair so often, they're finally wearing out. The bar was set high with this new pair and I wasn't disappointed. I love, love, love the shorter top. It is more flattering than the traditional 1950s cheerleader look, although that look is cute too. This style, is simply more fashion forward. The basic canvas runner with an air of casual sophistication. Give it a try. I'm so happy I did.

I get tons of compliments on this cute shoe. Makes my wide foot look like a dainty little lady foot. However like all Vans, makes my bare feet sweat and stink. Also after a months, the sides still rub my little toes and cause proto-blisters. Still, these are so cute (and well-made, they will last a long time) it's worth buying foot powder and suffering till properly broken in.

These are my first pair of Vans. On certain things I base how I purchase on the consistency reviews. Meaning if everyone saying the same thing its probably a manufacturer error and not user. Overall I have wide feet and wear a size 10 these Vans are loose fitting and nothing like my Converse. I like the comfort but I didnt like the crease that these shoes get in the back because of how loose fitting they are.

I took the advice of other reviews...order a half size smaller. These fit pretty darn good, not much arch support and I wouldn't recommend for a long hike, but they are fine for around town. Love the lower cut, this is my second pair...originally ordered the gray first, which is nice and I'm keeping them, but love it in black.
