I've had the black and gum color for two weeks now, and love them! I really like that DC offers a new shoe in a slimmer silhouette, and I've been getting a lot of compliments along with people asking where they can find a pair (Zappos of course). It's a good thing Zappos offers the Trase in so many different colors! I've been keeping my eye on a few of the brighter color ways for this spring, and will definitely cop another pair.

I really like the look of these but they are heavy and sort of stiff due the thick sole.

The shoe started coming undone in the first month so I’m not crazy about them.

Comfortable for long hours on your feet. The sole sheds, though, so not great if you don't want to find small pieces of rubber. I wear them with protective covers, though, so it isn't an issue. Fairly breathable, so good for hot sweaty environments.

I like the shoe but rated it a 4 in comfort and overall because it is lower cut in the heel, making it difficult to keep my feet and my prescription orthotics both inside the shoe. If the heel were a little deeper, I would rate it a 5 for comfort and overall. If you don't use orthotics, it should fit well.

I usually wear Vans but I decided to try these. This is actually the second pair I get. The first ones were great, so I ordered these. The day I ordered them the first pair developed a tear on the top. No big deal, I do wear them all the time. I will continue buying these along with Van's.

Fit is a bit tight around the foot near the toe to the first lace. Definitely smaller than size listed when compared to Vans.

I did not give 5 stars because the shoe could use a little more arch support and I felt them just a tad tight. Hoping for them to stretch a little. Overall for the price these shoes are worth the money as it is hard to find a plain white tennis shoe these days.

I normally wear 5.5 women's without socks and 6 with socks. I bought the 5.5, and they were slightly big with socks. They are cute and look durable, but they are going back.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

I like these shoes and wish I could give them a better overall score. They look good and are actually pretty comfortable and light weight. But I've had them for only 5 months and I started getting a hole in them at the top of the shoe by my toe. Looked recently and I'm seeing the start of another hole same spot other shoe.

Really disappointed. These rated as wider and a little bigger than Vans but when I got them they were smaller. I ordered size 14 and they felt like I was trying to put on a Vans 12. Really narrow and tight. They look great, I just wish someone in the industry could agree on what a size 13 or 14 actually is instead of always having to guess and play this "see-if-it-fits" game.

Bought this for my 12 year old. My son complains that the back heel upper side is too low and the shoe "feels like coming off". Other than that good quality for the materials. If he really checked them on when we got them we would have returned them.

These shoes seem like they would be good for skateboarding aside from the fact that they are very low cut. They seem to have a comfortable foot bed. I had to return them because I could not wear them comfortably even though I have very narrow feet. It's almost like they kept the same amount of room in the shoe top to bottom while increasing the length for larger sizes.

They felt cheap, really cheap. From the material down to the painted logo. On top of that Zappos hasn't returned my money yet. Somehow UPS lost the returning shoes and now im waiting for the Zappos to figure it out. This is after i talked to a rep and she stated we "will refund you today",....well its been three days. I will probably never use Zappos again. ZAPPO! we got your money!

Absolutely the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. These feel really narrow around the toes, much lower than than appear and offer no support whatsoever. Spend the extra money and get a better pair.
