Still testing these out. This is the second pair I ordered because the first one seemed defective with the length of Velcro straps. This pair is better quality. Support and fit are good. I’m a fan of the color, but might seem somewhat unflattering to the foot (even though I do buy older looking shoes in my 20s ?).

I wanted to keep these shoes, so cute! But not so comfortable. I don't know why manufacturers insist on putting designs and cut outs on the insoles. I could feel everything on the insides of these shoes. Too bad. I had to send them back.

The fit, size, and material were all pretty good. I loved the plum color and the soft, cushion foot bed. I think they'd have been supportive enough to walk in. However, to tighten the toe strap tight enough to prevent my foot from sliding around, it squashed my pinkie toe and compressed it into the fourth toe. It was uncomfortable in the few laps I did around my kitchen, much less for hiking. I do have very thin (top to sole) feet, so perhaps they'd work on a different foot shape. They were returned.

I love the style, color and fit of this sandal, just as I have loved Teva's over the years. However, this model is a huge disappointment to me. The strap instep strap only partially slides through the clip. This means that every time I put on or remove the sandal, there is a long struggle to fit the strap through. When I first wore them, I did not study the problem, and was sure it was just because they were new. I should have sent them back immediately!!

I wanted to like these, because Teva has been a favorite of mine and these are so cute! The footbed is great, it has a nice arch, and fits true to size. But the main problem is the velcro used on the strap of these sandals. It is thick. And, when you need to put your foot in or out, it hangs up on the piece it slides through, making it really difficult to tighten or loosen the strap to get your foot in and out. Eventually, the velcro stitching would just come loose. Also, the edges of the material from which the sandal is made is rough on the feet. I'm sending them back, mostly because of the velcro/strap problem.

I liked the style and arch support of these sandals, but there's a narrow trough in the foot bed right under the ball of the foot that pinched as I walked. I guess the groove is there to help the sandals bend, but the location of it was completely unworkable for me.

The fit is perfect on these, and the soles and straps are all good quality and feel very durable. I'm recovering from a tendon injury and needed sturdy arch & ankle support, and these have it. I walked miles in these in Mexico in both wet and dry weather and they were perfect for all conditions. I felt stable and secure. I even swam in these as water shoes and they worked great there too! The only downside (and why the comfort gets bumped down to 4 stars despite the great supportive sole) is that the inside front part of my foot rubbed a blister where there's a tough piece of material connecting the strap. The spot where that piece ends did rub a bit. The upside, though? I was able to adjust the strap again to make the shoe fit differently and put less pressure on that area, and that got me through the rest of the day without damaging the area further. I'll carry moleskin for any long-distance uses in case that happens again. Otherwise, these are really excellent shoes and I feel confident I'll get a lot of use out of them.

This is”my” first pair of Teva’s. although I’ve been wearing a pair for almost 2 full summers. Enough that I have a full Teva tan on my feet. I bought the first pair for my daughter for summer camp. She needed a pair of shoes with a heel strap that could get wet and dry quickly. They are a size 8. I’ve been wearing this pair for almost 2 years. I love these shoes, but they have been too big for me. So I bought myself a pair of teva’s in a 7.5. And I love them!! With the half size difference this pair fits perfectly. The strap loomed match my current tan.

Perfect fit! Safely walked a treacherous stone jetty, ran in them, wore with a beach dress and even let my daughter borrow them.

I'm very happy with these - they have all of the support and functionality of Tevas but are a little more stylish given the thinness of the strap across the toes. They aren't as bulky as other Tevas.

the color tortoise shell is more like a brown than red/orange like it looks online.

Fit was true to size and it was nice to have the option of half sizes in an athletic sandal. Arch support is good and sole is just cushy enough. I found them comfortable from the beginning.

Adjustable for narrow feet! I have narrow feet and can’t wear most Tevas. These sandals are adjustable around the ankles and over the toe area. I have a fair amount of extra Velcro but they fit and are very comfortable. Most athletic sandals aren’t adjustable and I can’t wear them. People with medium widths will be fine as well and probably wider feet as well. The Spruce green color is very nice. Not as dark as it appears. Love them, bringing to Vietnam next week.

Big fan of these sandals! I have had the "original universal" Teva's (the ones you picture when you think of Teva) for a year or two now, and while I have loved them for their durability and comfort, they have always just been too long for my foot. In the originals, the 7 was slightly too small but the 8 was way too long (and they don't come in half sizes). On the other hand, my step-daughter, who has long toes, loves the original ones. I have short little toes and kept tripping over my originals. I ordered these Teva Verra sandals in 7.5 and they are PERFECT! All the comfort and durability of the originals, with way more arch support. Just like my originals, I can wear these in water or even go hiking in them, but now I don't have to worry about tripping all over myself! If you love Teva's but you need less length or more arch support, these are the answer. Totally worth the extra 20 bucks.

Because of the way they are designed, these are ideal for bunion sufferers like me. The straps on the inner side of the foot cross in front of and behind the bunion, but don’t cover it, so there’s no pressure on the bunion itself. Every other walking or hiking shoe I’ve tried - including special boots from Germany advertised as bunion-friendly - has me in agony after ten minutes going downhill due to the pressure on the bunion when my foot slides forward in the shoe. With these, there is just a little chafing on top of the root of the big toe, but nothing a bandage won’t handle. Plus, since they don’t have a thong between the big and second toe, it’s possible (if not fashionable) to wear socks under them in cooler weather. Of course they aren’t suited for extremely muddy or rough conditions, but for casual hikes and walks, they are now my go-to footwear.

I love these shoes! I have 3 pair and pretty much wear them all summer. People often compliment them and ask where I got them which I think is pretty good for sport sandles.

This is my third pair of the Teva Verra. Very comfortable and nice style for casual wear. My only issue is that the top strap at the front, outer edge of the sandal, sticks up noticeably when I adjust it over my low volume foot. In other words, it won't lie flat. If there was more velcro on the lower strap for the upper strap to stick to, it would solve this design problem.

I bought these to wear trekking around Portugal. They appear to be a little darker brown in the photo, but still fit the bill. They are super cushy and comfortable! I like the velcro and ability to adjust the straps. I wear a 9 1/2 M and these fit true to size. My husband said they look great! I'll update in October how they held up after wearing them every day for 3 weeks; and how they look with skirts, because that's just about all I wear every day. Thank you Teva and Zappos!
