I was disappointed to find that this bag was damaged. I found what appeared to be an ink mark and also there was a glob of white substance near where one of the straps connects to the bag, almost like it had been washed. The color was very light compared to the picture. It's a great size style. I may order another one.

Had it under 6 months never used the zipper. When I did it separated with just a wallet and phone inside. I can't find anyone to fix it. I have boots and and another purse from frye and they don't last strap broke on the last purse.

I loved this bag. The quality, the color...I had a hard time returning it. It was just too heavy for my weak back.

The leather on this bag is soft and beautiful. The stitching is high quality. It has plenty of space inside to carry anything I may want to place into a handbag, without being too cumbersome. The design is not overly trendy and I think with the quality of materials I will get many years of use from this bag.

The color and the overall quality of the bag is awesome!

I've had good experiences with your products. The shoes, crossbody bags, The melissa tote, and now ...the Satchel. Only two suggestions? Bring the color SAND back and possibly replace the zipper with a magnetic closure. Along with the frye Tag hanging from the bags. It would be EPIC!

I got the Melissa satchel in Cognac and it is beautiful! The highs and lows are simply stunning and it has a gorgeous, rugged, worn in look. I know from previous experience with the Melissa line that the pull up leather they use is of great qualify and very easy to maintain. Frye's products are beautifully made and well worth the money spent. I will always recommend Frye products!!!

I have this in the black and ice. At first I was hesitant to get the washed leather - I wasn't sure I would like imperfections and was worried it would look too rugged. It doesn't. But what I love about it, is that is already broken in. The leather is gorgeous - it has a bit of a bleach smell to it, but its not overwhelming and I expect it will fade over time. The bag itself is the perfect size, east-west shape, with the light interior so you can find what you need. The only issue I am having is the zipper - it doesn't run as smooth as I think it should, particularly toward the end where the zipper curves up. Sometimes it gets stuck and I have tried wax paper to loosen it up - still sticks. Other than that, this bag is the perfect every day carry. I love it.

This is the best purse I have ever had, and for years I have been buying Coach, Michael Kors, D&B, D&G and etc. The design is timeless and can match a lot of outfits, from everyday Casual to a Dinner Date. The best thing about this purse is that it can fit my Ipad, my water bottle and my make up kit without looking like an overnight bag!

I just bought the black one completely different texture from my brown both are beautiful bags! Not great size & weight. I took one cause on the black one I am missing the key holder inside my bag. I click on 5 cause on 4 did not show my comment

It's a Frye, there's not much else to say. I get so many compliments on this purse. It holds a lot and is so durable.

I purchased this bag in black. I have never been loyal to one bag. I have dozens & change several times a week....until now. This is the one bag for me! The leather is very high quality. The hardware is heavy. The lining is The size is perfect - I am 5'9" and the bag is a great match.

Bought it for my fiances birthday was a surprise and the color options helped so much she loved the ice so much I got her a matching wallet!! She love frye has two pairs of boots and three purses would love to be able to get her another purse soon!!

I received this bag and could care less if there is a tag or not. The leather is so rich and beautiful that as soon as someone's eyes see it, they can tell it's a high quality handbag. I've never been disappointed in the quality from Frye and I consider myself picky. The size is perfect for me and I don't consider this bag heavy at all. No regrets here and wouldn't think of sending back. I'm just waiting until I can afford another one in a different color.
