Worst product on Zappos? I think it just might be. I have no idea how this product received 5 stars from 16 previous reviews. Look on Amazon at the same kit and you will see it has 3.5 stars with a lot of complaints about it not doing anything and that is true in my experience. This product literally does NOTHING. The cork sealer - after it dries, the Birkenstock looks exactly the same, no extra shine, no bonding of the loose cork, nothing. The Cleaner and Refresher also does NOTHING - maybe there's a little added fragrance but that is basically it. The brush is uncomfortable to use since it is small and you can't really cover the entire contoured sole of the Birkenstock. It also has odd looking plastic sides which are absolutely worthless since you will have no idea what to do with them - there are no instructions on the box and the Birkenstock site doesn't mention the odd brush sides or what they are for. The Water and Stain Repellent - you can buy the same solution for few bucks somewhere else (I haven't used it since I already have other sprays). You would be better off cleaning the shoes with a brush and some soap and water. This product is definitely not worth $20. I am returning it immediately. Definitely do not recommend - it is worthless.

Great product with really fast FREE shipping! The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is due to a lack of instructions for the brush tool. I have no idea what each tip should be used for except the bristle brush. Sealer, cleaner and stain repellant all have instructions on the backs of each bottle. Brush has a thick plastic handle but the top is a rubbery plastic that got really dingy after using and was a little hard to get clean. All together, substantial product for the price. I didn’t have a cleaning kit my first few pairs of Birks and after getting one, my sandals last much longer and are much nicer looking. I use the cleaner and protectant weekly and seal the cork monthly and my Birks look much nicer for multiple summers and many miles.

Really glad I ordered this little kit with my new Birkenstocks. I was able to waterproof them and refresh an older pair.

This is a handy little kit for taking the best possible care of your Birkies. They can be lifetime shoes, but they do need some looking after. It is great to have everything needed in one little kit (although there is not a brush for the cork sealer, you can use your own brush or finger).

I have the Birkenstock Gizeh Birko-Flor, so I am not able to use the Water & Stain Repellent, but the Cork Sealer and Cleaner & Refresher work really well. I bought my Birks, about a year ago, and have never cleaned them...I know!! After using the kit, they look and smell like new.

I bought this mostly for the cleaner and brush. The cleaner is useless, it seems to leave a residue which makes my Birks feel tacky, then collect dirty and grime even quicker. The brush is already falling apart, the rubber areas are easily scuffed up and many brush bristles have already been falling out. The cork sealer isn't great. I have another brand which is much better, this leaves a bit of a white chalking finish that looks drier than before. The water and stain repellent seems alright. I will probably never use the cork sealer or cleaner again and we'll see how long the brush lasts past one use. I wish I had looked at reviews elsewhere before wasting my money.

So I was a bit hesitant to buy this kit when all I wanted was the cork sealer. I’m glad I did though because the cleaner & refresher is close to a miracle worker. I’ve worn Birks for over 20 years and just accepted a slightly slimy and smelly footbed was just how it was always going to be. Well no longer! Even though my current pair have been worn for almost two years, the cleaner & refresher started to cut through the blackish layers of gross with little effort. After just one use I can even see the logo in the footbed again.

I absolutely love this kit! It has everything that you need to protect your new shoes and also keep them looking new. With the price of these shoes it helps to keep them in good shape.

Outside of not having any definitive instructions this is a great kit. The products smell nice and do deodorize the soles of Birkenstocks.

this is a really great kit to buy. It will extend the life of your Birkenstocks by a lot. Just follow the instructions on the bottle and probably watch a YouTube video and you will be fine.

Cleaning and maintaining my Birks has become a new hobby of mine. This little kit was nice, especially when I get slightly used ones to clean up. The brush is awesome.
