Right now these are my workout shoes of choice. I use them for HIIT/Strength/Plyo/Cardio/etc... They have good stability and allow for lateral movements without slipping. They are also pretty durable and I was able to extend the wear to almost a year by replacing the orthotics when my bones got that: my shoes are wearing out ache. I wish they came in a more subdued color, because my color preferences run to varying shades of black and grey.

I like this shoe so much that I bought a second pair. Super light, with great support and cushion for walking, aerobics, and zumba. Colors are elegant for a sneaker. The shoe is sleek looking yet the toe box fits my wide foot and bunions. Sturdy and well worth the cost as this is one of the best shoes I have purchased in a long, long time.

Ever since a wet spot on a studio floor initiated a slip and fall that rolled my ankle and gave me a major sprain, that same ankle has been prone to rolling. I moonlight teaching advanced step aerobics that's pretty heavy on choreography and getting another serious sprain would be a problem. I used to wear Asics Gel Noosas, which were great for my plantar fasciitis but it seems like the most recent models predispose me to rolling my bad ankle more frequently. After talking to someone at a New Balance store, who pointing out the features that prevent rolling (before I even mentioned that this was an issue for me), I decided to purchase these. Even if I deliberately try to roll my ankle in them while standing, it's pretty difficult to do. So far, so good. I haven't rolled my bad ankle at all in these shoes while teaching or taking another instructor's class so I hope they keep this model around for a long time! I'm ordering a backup pair now, just in case they discontinue them before it's time to replace the ones I have.

Comfortable training shoes. Wanted a supportive shoe for aerobic activities at the gym. Have bunions and appreciate the wider toe box. For a wide shoe, though, it still felt a little narrow but wide enough for my feet. Lots of cushioning.

I have been wearing the 1267 for several years for my workouts. I do cardio, team training, weight training, walking, 5-7 days a week and only wear this New Balance shoe. After foot surgery 6 years ago, I started only buying wides to accommodate my Spenco orthotics and this style has a removable insole. They have worked perfectly for me.

Very short in length. My foot size is a 6.5, I always order NB in a 7. I've done that for years! I would easily need a 7.5 in these, however, they're unavailable.

Pros: Lightweight, cute and pretty good support. Cons: Narrower than marked. I am a wide width and have always ordered a wide from NB, but this one feels like a regular width shoe. Bummed - I would totally order a second pair of these if they were wider. In fact, this would have been a 5 star review if the width was correct.

I had to exchange these for a 1/2 size up. They are comfortable and I can remove the insole to fit my orthotics. I prefer a sneaker with a little more support under the ball of the foot, this one does not have that, but they look good and are comfortable for casual wear.

I wear my cross-training shoes for indoor use only, for teaching group exercise classes, working out in the gym, and for workouts in my home. I replace them once every two years, on or around Valentine's Day. I bought the 1267 shoes twice. They are perfect, and I love the color!!

These are great shoes for feet that pronate. I'm commenting because of all the reviews saying that the fit is small across the toes. I have wide feet (wear an 8D) that are in particular wide across my forefoot. I buy New Balance shoes for two reasons: because they have good stability shoes, and because they are wider in the toe box than most brands. I have not found these to be too narrow across the toes.

These sneakers provide a nice, secure fit. They support the feet incredibly well. I like these shoes for long treks and fitness training.

This is perfect. I wish there were more colors. Purchased 2 pairs of these. I have wide feet and narrow heels.

I needed more support for lateral movement than my running shoes provided for bootcamp type workouts. I tried on several styles in store, but these provided the most stability. I wish they came in other color options than just black/purple, but I can overlook that for the difference it has made in my workouts.

I'm not getting any younger and I get aches and pains here and there. These shoes really help take those pains away.

With the purchase of this shoe I have 3 pairs of New Balance, all different series numbers--also all different sizes. I had ordered the 10 D and had to return for a half size bigger also in D. I received the bigger shoe but find that in the toe part---the forefoot is fine--is exactly where the toes rest they are to narrow. My big toe on both shoes rub the side of the shoe and there is plenty of room in front of my toe-so size is not the problem. I tried thinner socks, then thicker socks it didn't make a difference. I was really disappointed as I really liked this shoe and aside from that they seemed pretty comfortable, I like the colors and design. I knew they needed to be returned so my trying them out was limited to walking around my living room a couple of times on a couple of different days. I don't have to order the D width but have been since I got orthodics just to be sure they fit in the shoe right. My feet are not exceptionally wide at all but the toe area is just to narrow. I don't understand their sizing since every shoe I have is different, this makes online ordering difficult. I am very grateful for the free shipping on returns!

I do a lot of hiit type workouts and although this is a nice shoe I found my foot slipping around, there was just too much room in the toe box.
I'd also recommend:

They seem to run small and very narrow. Unfortunately, they are going back. I believe the description stated they are black. They are more of a very dark gray.

Very good arch support. Good for lateral movements for cross training classes. However, they are a bit stiff and with burpees, push ups, etc I got cramps in my toes so therefore they did not work for me.

I have been buying 7.5 D from NB for years and never had a problem with fit. These shoes, however, were too narrow across the toes. I tried to just wear them around the house to see if they would stretch, but after a few steps with my heels slipping right out of the shoe I realized it wasn't going to work. Also of note: these shoes feel like they are for heavily pronated feet. They wouldn't have worked for me even if the width was true to size.

I have been wearing this series of New Balance cross trainers since my plantar facitis dx in 2007. I have ordered 2 or 3 or the same shoe because along with my orthotics they allow me to workout up to seven days a week(ZUMBA,ZUMBA Strong, elliptical, boot camps and weights). I bought these and wore them for the first time this week as they were bought for Christmas so cannot be returned(my fault). These are the same size I always buy 8.5. The same cross training series shoe. They are tight, inflexible, they hurt and have poor traction. I couldn't wait to take them off. THe outer shoe has glue showing. I had to use a knife to cut the lace holes because they were still sewn together. What has happened to New Balance?!
