These are the most painful boots I have ever encountered. They make the old combat issue boots in boot camp in the late 80's and 90's seem wonderful. I had to quit wearing them after a month because I could hardly stand up on my feet after wearing them at work. I had to go back to Justin's.

For the first 2-3 weeks I wore them they hurt my feet and knees so bad. The next 4 months they weren't bad other then they leaked. Now month 7 the insoles are junk and the leather starting to come apart. I'm a machinist so I have to stand on concrete floors all day and dont really work them as hard as other jobs would. I'll never waste my money on Ariat work boots again do your self a favor and buy redwings.

I bought a pair of these three months ago. I was told to spend the money and get a good pair of boots so I got these. The fit of the boots were never quite right. It took a couple weeks to get them broken in enough to where my feet didn't kill me at the end of the day I work for the city I live in so I'm on asphalt every day. The toes are completely warn out. The steel is showing and the leather is rapidly wearing away. Three months is pathetic. Apparently I work to hard for these boots. I don't think I'll ever buy a pair of ariats again.

The quality of these boots are not what I expected. After about 10 months they had become very worn and uncomfortable and the insoles had to be replaced right away. This was the first pair I have owned for work and I am disappointed in the quality especially after spending that much money and time researching what would be best. I would not recommend these for working on the railroad as they were described to be on the website.

I have had several other pairs of Ariats so I figured I'd try these for work. BAD idea. I bought the same size as all the other Ariat boots I own, not quite right. After 4 months of wearing them I returned them to where I bought them for other boots. These were JUNK, insides shot, sole coming apart, and never comfortable.

Loved these boots so much the first time I purchased them, I put them to work and they were comfortable and durable. Sowhen those wore outI purchaseda second pair. Letsjust say, Ariat what happened? The second pair while still comfortable, have not lasted, the stitching on the side of the boot tore apart, the stitching under the loops came undone leaving me boots that at any second can leave me barefoot. and to top it off Ariat customer service is horrible, I called Cavenders which is where I purchased the boot, they said I must ship them the boots for them to inspect and they'll make a decision if they can cover the boots under warranty, so I shipped them still waiting to here back from them. So I spend almost $200 on a pair of boots that come apart on me in 4 months Use the maybe 2 times a week and now I have to buy a new pair if not I wont have boots for works for 3 weeks and thats if they decide to honor the warranty. i called Ariat to see if they can help and the CS lady was rude as can be and she kept saying you didn't buy it from us so we have nothing to do with you and we can't do nothing for you, thats our policy you have to go through the vendor. I was telling her I did and I undertsand but I feel that they should do something to help, no sir you had no money exchange with us it was with Cavenders, so we have nothing to help you with. Yeah these are the last pair of Ariats I ever buy.

Have had these boots about a year. Started out having trouble breaking them in. The top of the boot rubbed my leg because of the way the pullon strapsweremade.Once thatsoftened I really likedtheseboots for a while. Comfortable. In the last couple of months the cushion insole has started to break down and now the ball of my foot feels like it is walking on rocks. The same thing happened to the last pair of ariat work boots that I had. Really disappointed in the durability. of this insole. Likely won't try again and will not recommend.

This boot is worthless for a work boot. If you work outside like I do, don't buy it. The boot leaks water in a lite rain. If you walk in snow yourfeetwillget wet. I pickedupa pair of CAT workbootsfor halfthe price and they are 10 times better. The first pair I had I had to take back to the store because the top part of the boot was unfinished and rub my leg. I had no problem exchanging them. I just wished I would have picked a different brand.
