LOVE THESE BOOTS...I returned the black gloss and exchanged them for the black matte and I'm so happy I did....very classy....I normally wear a woman's 6.5-7 and the youth 5 fits perfect with a little room to spare....I'm only 5'0" and the 5 youth is about 1-2 inches below my knee..PERFECT ....the womans tall classic are way too tall for me....I can't wait for rain!!!

I bought one size up to allow for the Hunter Sock but I don't know that it was necessary. Love the boots. I wear a 6 in women's so being able to buy the kids version for a lesser price was awesome!

Just one piece of advice to share with anyone wanting to purchase these for adults: I am a size 6.5 in women’s shoes and was so excited to be able to purchase the kids size 5 and save $! While the size of the shoe bed was perfect - the calf circumference was too tight. I am a petite 5’ 2”, size 2 woman and was able to get the boots on only if I was not wearing any jeans/pants. When trying them on with jeans, they wouldn’t fit up my leg, the circumference was too small. Sadly, they’re going back and I am going to pony up the extra $ for the adult size. Best wishes to anyone trying to purchase these as a adult!

So these are very nice and a great alternative to buying the adult version! I'm a size 6-6.5 in women and the size 5 where perfect a tad lose but perfect with some boot socks! I will say these are not for the person with a big calf, they will not fit if u have a big calf. But overall great rainboot!!

I normally wear a size 5 in women's but the women's boots are way too large and high for my height. I am 5' for reference and these kid's size 4 are perfect! They are still a little loose, but I have very narrow feet. I wear thick sock with them and I also have a pair of the kid's Hunter socks. Super cute and stylish and perfect for rain or shine!

I typically wear 5-1/2 and bought the Kids 4. It fits perfect in length and height. Lots of calf room if you want to layer up with warm socks or if you’re wearing jeans. I’m 5’2 and the boots sit approximately 2 inches below my knees. I didn’t feel like spending full price on the adult size since it doesn’t rain much where I’m at. I’m happy with my purchase. The only minor downside is the reflective markings on the back side of the boots but I can live with it.

I am a size 5-5.5 in women's and the size 3 Big Kid worked perfect. Used them for tromping through mud for 2 days at an outdoor motocross race. Not too heavy, would recommend buying the boot socks too!

So stinkin cute for a little girl. However, the boot shaft is tall if you have a petite girl.

I’m a women’s size 6, but maybe somewhat on the high side (about a third to half of the time, I’ll size up to 6.5 depending on the shoe, especially boots/sneakers) and my feet are normal width but with high arches. My calves are pretty slim and I’m about 5’5”. The big kids size 5 is PERFECT. I’ve tried several pairs to find the goldilocks size, so hope this info will help others in search of the same: my last pair of Hunters (after reading a bunch of reviews with size recommendations) was the big kids size 4 (UK size 3) and while they seemed to fit well enough for me to wear them for several years, my toes would actually poke right up against the fronts of the boots when doing anything but standing still in them (tolerable but annoying), and getting them on and off could be a bit of a struggle at times. Over the years, my feet actually stretched the material, so they got more comfortable, but I think that may have contributed to more of the rubber cracking over time (which seems to be a thing with the kids boots?). I tried to go to the regular women’s size 6 (optimistic and probably dumb — I was absolutely swimming in it — footbed and calf were HUGE, and the boot height was way too tall for me - hit right behind my knee, making crouching impossible). Turns out the big kids size 5 is the middle way. There’s a little wiggle room with bare feet or thin socks on (which is ideal for these boots — leaves room for thick socks in the winter or adding a cushion insert which can really help with comfort if you’re wearing them for long periods of time). The boot height is also just right - hits just above the top of my calf, so I can hunker down and do yard work, but it’s tall enough to help keep water out when car-washing, and there’s just enough room to tuck a lightweight pant leg in there. So if you’re a women’s size 6 to 6.5, I’d say try the big kids 5 unless your feet are really on the small side of 6 (might save you some order/return cycles). I am so glad to finally have my new pair in a size that actually fits (thanks to Zappos for the easy shipping and returns)!

I'm a size 6.5 in women's and neither the size 6 or 7 Tall Original Boot worked. The 6 was too tight and the 7 was too big. Enter the Kid's size 5. It fits closest to a size 6.5, so I was very happy! Just an FYI for those of you 6.5's that are having trouble with the women's boots. I don't mind the reflective tape in the back; I'm kind of a Safety Bob type of person, so it doesn't bother me. The boot also doesn't dig into the bottom of my knee like the women's original tall boot does. The only bummer thing is that my left boot already has a seam that's opened up and I've only had these for just over two months.

I was told that you have to buy hunters a size smaller because they run big. I’m a 6 women’s, 4 kids, so I got a 3 in kids and they fit perfect. Although, I do recommend getting you actual size so you’re able to wear thick socks and leg warmers because they make your feet cold if it’s cold outside.

I wear a size 6 in women's and ordered the kids hunter boots in a size 4, they fit like a glove. I do not have any difficulty getting them on or off and they are more comfortable than expected. So far I have only worn these boots with thin socks but I think there will be room to comfortably wear thick cozy socks in the winter. I've only gotten to wear them in the rain once but they did the job of keeping my feet nice and dry. I'm looking forward to getting a lot more use out of them and wearing them next winter.

I bought these as an adult in a 5 and found that that they fit well (I'm usually a 5.5- 6 women's). I can easily wear them with wool socks, though a true boot liner would be a little too tight for me in the calf. I'm only 5 ft and they're the perfect leg height for me.

Originally I purchased the Women's Original Tour boot in a size 6 (my normal size) and I was swimming in them. So, I looked around a little and saw a few reviews saying that the Little/Big Kid sizes worked for some other women. I purchased the size 4 and they fit much better! There is enough room to wear socks and jeans, and the height is much more comfortable for my short legs.

I purchased these boots several years ago and initially I loved them. I’m from sunny Southern California so I didn’t get much use out of them until recently. When not in use, I stored them in their original box so they were well taken care of. Mother Nature has finally started to dump rain on us and I’m finally getting to wear them regularly. There was so much rain that I needed to wade through a lake of water in order to get into my car. And that’s when I noticed my socks getting wet. A quick inspection showed that my boots that probably got worn a dozen times a year at best had tears in them. I’m really disappointed that for the amount of money I paid for these boots they didn’t last very many uses. And now it’s past the return date and no help from the customer service department.

I am a women's size 7 and followed the other reviews and bought a Big Kid 5 and they fit perfectly (it pays to read the reviews!!). Also, my daughter is a size 1 or 2 (depending on the brand). With how quickly kids grow, I thought I would play it safe and buy her the size two, and if they were too large, she could use them next year. However, the 2 fit her perfectly (with a little room), so that is why I noted the size felt "true to size". She loves the boot, and I got the bright blue color so that her little brother can wear them next year - they seem sturdy enough to last that long!

The boots are adorable, high quality, and very comfortable for my daughter. They are double the cost of another cute brand we tried (Western Chief) but are much better fitted through the foot and ankle. My daughter LOVES them and it makes me happy to see her traipsing around in the spring mud season, perfectly at home.

Loved it! Bought it for myself. Since I’m petite, the height of the shaft felt better than the women’s sizing. Plus, I was able to save some $$$ by ordering kids’ size ??

I have always seen people wearing Hunter boots for years and always wanted a pair. Needless to say, after reading reviews to determine which size would be best for me in kids (I wear a 6 in women's), I went with the Big Kid size 4 and they fit perfectly! The Hunter green color is extremely beautiful and the arch support is what I need is this world. I have flat feet and used to wear rain boots with no arch support. Now I know why folks are purchasing Hunter boots because they are so comfy! I definitely recommend these boots to everyone.

I actually bought these for myself( an adult) and they fit wonderful! I'm only 5'2 so I worried the adult sizes would look awkward on me but these are perfect and the price point is MUCH better!

I was thrilled I could buy these boots in kids size because I saved a lot of money. It also rained for 2 days straight when I received them so I was able to wear them right away. I love them. I ordered the correct size and wore thin socks with them but could wear thicker ones too. I think they will last me a long time. I wish they came in gray!!
