Sole came unglued after just a week of wearing. Hubby glued it back together but I'm not happy with the quality of these shoes. Son loves the style, however.

Well, I've bought Vans Classic slip ons for both my kids over the years. I think my older girl had at least 2 different pairs. But this latest buy for my 7.5 yr old boy lasted a mere couple of weeks and the material is already coming apart. This is the first time this has happened to a pair of Vans I've bought. Kinda ridiculous that it only lasted a couple of weeks. Even if the kids is wearing them to school and playing on the playground in them.

Kids have ben wearing these for a few years and LOVE them BUT what happened to the loop at the back of the heel? Now my kid is struggling to get into his slip on shoes because there is no heel loop ---- Bummer!

Bought these for my daughter, went a half size up because I saw reviews that they run small. My daughter can not even get her foot into them. Went to a store to try on to get the right size and she can't seem to get her foot into even an adult size. Not sure these shoes will work for us as once we get a size she can get her foot into, I imagine there will be too much room and her foot will move around in them. She is VERY dissapointed.

I’ve been so disappointed with Vans Kids. My son has only had these shoes for 3 weeks and the inside lining, on the inside top of the shoe, is already torn and rolling up - on both shoes! Now they give him blisters on the tops of his toes. This is not unusual with Vans Kids. This is the second pair we’ve had this summer. The quality just isn’t there.

My son wore these shoes for 1 week and then the top split completely away from the side of the soles.

This sneaker is super cool looking but unfortunately I could not even fit my son's normal width foot inside the opening to even put the shoe on him. Very odd construction, otherwise a cute shoe. Opening runs extremely narrow for some reason.

Very cute, but the sole began detaching from the fabric upper after the first week. I would not buy again. Not great for a narrow foot.

These shoes are terribly made. I ordered these for my son because of the design. After less then 3 weeks and very few wearings, they started to fall apart. I called customer service and they were great and sent me a new pair, and the same exact thing happened in less then a few weeks. My son is not very hard on shoes and this has never happened to us with any other style of Vans before, so I'm not sure if it's the design that is flawed, but they are basically trashed and unwearable. I would steer clear.

My son is 6 with autism and loves dinosaurs so we got these for his bday.... and sadly the fabric ripped away from bottom white rubber trim just 2weeks later;( so disappointed the shoes looked so cute but I can't afford shoes not to last when I have so many medical bills to cover.... I need shoes to last longer than 2weeks

My son wore these checkered shoes through his childhood so I bought a pair for HIS son, my four year old grandson. The shoes look as great as ever but the quality is gone. In two weeks my grandson's toes were pushing through the shoddy torn canvas. The shoes lasted three weeks total. My grandson is a pretty normal 4 year old. He didn't particularly abuse them. Normal activity and the shoes fell apart. What a disappointment

The shoes look amazing but my son can't get his feet in. They are extremely (abnormaly) tight. I had to return them

My son loves these shoes! They are comfortable and he likes the glow in the dark flames. My issue with the shoes is the don't last and when they fail they fail big time. This pair of shoes lasted exactly 2 months. Yesterday, when he was walking home from school the sole cracked across the toe and then fell off. I had to carry him the rest of the way home since he was essentially barefoot. This is the second pair of Vans that has failed in the same way. Vans brand shoes are supposedly shoes for skateboarders, I cannot imagine these shoes could stand up to one week of skateboarding. It's a lot of money to pay for a pair of shoes that will fall apart after two months of use.

Cute show but really does run small. My son wears a 3.5 and could not get his foot even half way in...back to Zappos they go. :-(

Purchased these on May 6, 2015. They are already falling apart. They are separating at the toe. The finish on these appears to be a coated finish so they are not as flexible and are "pulling" away from the rubber soles. We have purchased numerous pairs of Vans from Zappos and this is first pair with a problem.
