If you DON'T want the SOLES of your boots heels TO STAY ON you might want to try these boots. I have NEVER had a pair of boots LAST UNDER 4 MONTHS, (even with my crooked walk) UNTIL NOW. The heel soles wore down to the edge of faux stacking and the sole SOLE POPPED OFF the hollow heel. Mind you the uppers held up fine. It is a shame. Comfortable and nice looking. Sole constructed of POOR MATERIAL. (Boots only worn to work. Commute was by car... I didn't hike there. Then I am in a chair most of the day.)

Horrible. I couldn’t even get them on to see how they fit in my calf. The zipper is in the back and the ankle portion was so tight I couldn’t even get my foot in without scraping it so hard on the zipper that I ripped my stockings. After shoving my foot in, I couldn’t even zip it up. I normally easily wear a 7 in Rothy’s, which run narrow/small, so I don’t think a bigger size would help. Really weirdly designed—I’ve never had this issue with boots. Overall, the leather is nice and the boots are pretty, but the sizing was way too weird. I won’t try again.

I am so sad these didn’t fit my calves. I ordered a size 7 wide calf which should’ve fit just fine, but my calves barely zipped up in them, my feet felt like they were encased in a hard leather vice, no arch support, very uncomfortable sole, and were so tight, I felt like a robot in them.

I couldn’t even get this on my foot because it was so narrow. I’ve never worn a wide shoe in my life. Why in the world would you make something so narrow when people are ordering wide calf?

Very disappointed in this boot. The material looked cheap and the boot overall looked like it was thrown together. Not enough detail to craftsmanship. I'm returning.

Wanted to love these. but, received 2 left foot boots; Couldn't order another set. They were sold out.

I'm surprised that most reviewers felt this boot ran true-to-size. I ordered size 8.5 W and it fit like a 7.5 to 8 N to M. Very disappointed.

i really liked these boots but the shaft was way too large. Huge gap around the top made it look sloppy. Returning

I have narrow feet so I thought I would be OK with the medium width, but they were too narrow and immediately painful. I had read the reviews and would have purchased a wider width to start, but it wasn't available. With the narrow toe box, they felt shorter than normal too. Loved the look, just not the fit.

I own these books in two colors in the exact size I ordered so expected a perfect fit. When I put them on, they were tight but I figured they would stretch out. They didn't. I was going to tough it out but then the heel fell off. These just seem to be defective.

Hated these boots. Padded footbed uncomfortable and lumpy. Too big in the heel. Ultra soft leather meant a lot of sagging around the ankle. The only kind thing I have to say about them is that they fit my 17" calf.

This is an exceptionally narrow boot. I have never had an issue with regular size before, but I could hardly get my foot into the front of this boot. The "wide calf" is also very narrow. I don't believe it is truly 16 inches. I have two other pairs of leather wide calf boots from different brands, both with 16 inch calves, and I never had an issue zipping them up completely. These would only go about 3/4 of the way up.

I was so looking forward to these boots. How disappointing to not even be able to get my feet in them. They are SO small. I am a perfect size 10 but could not even get my heel into these boots. I am about to see if I can get an 11 but am still wary. Thumbs down.

These boots are cute but tight around the toes and uncomfortable. They also scuffed very easily and needed to be conditioned with leather cream frequently. Had to return.

I must have the biggest calves in the world! I couldn’t get these zipped:( I was so sad because they are gorgeous! Back to he drawing board for me!

Super cute boots but as many have pointed out, the toe box is just too narrow, and I even ordered the wide. Unfortunately I have to send them back.

this boot is way too large at the top - the calf is way too large. I have 16" calves and I am 5'2". I tried the regular Penny and I could not zip them up, I tried these and they are beyond 17" although the description on line says otherwise. the stitching too at the bottom looked cheap.
