I don't wear flats. Let me rephrase: the only flats I wear are knock around the house flip flops. Felt I needed to add a staple to my summer go-to shoes to toss in a bag wherever I go. These are just what I needed. I never got into the Keds fad, so I don't have much to compare, but he'd are comfortable, chic, and continue to break in with wear. They are pricey for slip on sneakers, but they'll stick around for a long time to Come, much like most of my other Frye loves!

I returned the Melanie's but not regret it-- they were tight but I should have gone up a half-size. They were nice enough to wear to work due to the leather quality but also comfortable and great for casual wear.

I bought these a week ago and wore them to my niece graduation. The leather was hard but after wearing them for awhile, I will break them in. Overall, I'm glad I purchased them they can be paired with everything.

I'm definitely a fan of Frye shoes! Purchased my first pair a month ago. Since then I've purchased two pair of Carson flats. The red and a black pair. Love them so comfortable. I only wish the black ones were more of a distressed color. The red ones are a lighter/darker shades of red. Gorgeous.

I really loved the look of this show. Bought it in the grey color which I think is actually a beautiful taupe. It runs small. I always wear a 7.5 M in Frye shoes and boots, but probably need an 8 M. I returned it and will try to find an 8 to try on before purchasing another pair.

Stumbled upon these while browsing and really was taken with their look. Ordered them and they arrived almost immediately (thank you Zappos) but unfortunately they are small in length and width. I am a true size 8, occasionally finding 8 a little large and these were small. Reading the reviews it seems they do stretch but they would have needed to stretch a lot and I really can't take the chance they might or might not so I am returning them. Very disappointed as they are really a sleek and stylish casual shoe and I LOVED the antique grey color. Such a pity - so Frye please get your sizing checked!

I ordered/received the pair in white; which is actually more of a bone color. Appear to be true to size in length, but with a slightly narrow toe box, due to the pointier toe design. Leather appears to be supple and should stretch to fit in short order. I have a narrow heal, and the fit is comfortably snug for now. Hoping I won't see as much stretching in heel as I need in the toe area. I was a big fan of the old school Keds Champions, so I'm hoping these become an acceptable substitute. Also these are more pricey than leather Keds, so I'm hoping for durability. Was hoping for more arch support, but I have added leather arch supports, and the fit seems to accommodate this addition.

I was looking all over for a simple, slip-on in the fawn color with white detail. So I find these and of course need to buy them. They pinch my toes so bad! The length is right, but they are tight from above. I can't wait for the leather to loosen up.

Wanted a spring slip on that was a little jazzier and classier than my Toms. Got these in red which I love. Agree with other reviews that the toe area is a little tight but they seem to be stretching out. My feet are long and narrow and these feel great. I think they will be a good travel shoe as well.

These are very cute shoes! I am usually a 7 and these were a little too small, so I am going to exchange them. Also, the white part of the shoe is not a stark, clean white. It's almost kind of "weathered," as if they'd already been worn. It's visible in the picture if you look close enough. I'm not sure it's a deal-breaker, though.

Cute shoe, but shallow for me in the toe box. I would say this is a true flat, not the 3/4-inch heel indicated in the description.

These are the cutest shoes ever! well made, like all Fryes. I ordered the silver in 5.5 but the pointy toe really pushes down on my big toenail, I'm going to try the 6. Otherwise the shoe fit. If it helps anyone: I have a low volume foot, narrow heel and normal/wideish toebox. I have a lot of trouble finding a shoe to fit, let alone a slip on; I can usually fit my hand in the shoe on top of my foot. If you have a wide foot this may not be the shoe for you. But such a cute shoe!!!

I wear these flats all day like a slipper they are so comfortable. I like an unfussy shoe style and these are it. The bumper style front saves me from stubbing my toes while I'm running around all day.

Normally, I'm between a 9 and a 9-1/2. The 9-1/2 in the Melanie was too short on one foot, (my larger foot, and where my 2nd toe is longer,) so I ordered the 10. It's a bit better, yet still might be short on my toes. I'm hoping the softness of the leather will stretch and mold to my feet with time. They are very pretty, otherwise, and fairly comfortable - not like an athletic shoe is comfortable, but good enough for a short time. I tried the grey the first time, but was disappointed in the drabness of the color. The cognac is, like it shows on the screen, a brighter color.

I like a bit of a wedge heel and thought it was built up inside the shoe. It was not, it was too flat for me. Wonderful style and left soft. Sorry it didn't work.

Love the slip on simple style! As others have stated, toe space was tight at first but soft leather has stretched to provide a comfortable fit. Would have given 5 stars if there was arch support...none. At this price...should have.

I bought these in grey and do like the color. The shoe is more narrow than pictured and do make your feet look long. Because all of my other Fryes are amazing, I'll wait until they're broken in to be judgy.

I bought these in gray. I was hoping for a true gray color but these are more of a taupe. They are butter soft and fit great. I am keeping them despite the color because they are so comfortable. I went to a local store to buy the same shoes in black. I tried on two black pair in the same size but both were much narrower than the gray pair. If I could find a black pair sized like the ones I bought I would buy them and the white color also.

I ordered a size 9 because that's what I wear in their ballet shoes. According to other reviews they're true to size, but even though I have a narrow foot, they are still too tight. I wore them around the house for a couple days hoping they would stretch out. Sadly, I'm sending them back. I ordered the Dylan hoping they'll work out better for me.

The shoes seem well made, and the leather is very soft. They are however for narrow type of foot. My feet are not wide at all, yet these shoes felt too snug. Because of that, they did not look nice on my feet, neither were comfortable. It did not help that I ordered half size bigger. I believe that for the narrow feet these may be nice and comfortable pair.

Love these shoes! Look great, feel great. I have a very high arch and instep, and also a wide foot, so they are a bit snug right out of the box. But the leather is so soft and smooth that I'm sure they'll mold to my feet in no time. To the other reviewer who said she got a used pair - that's part of the design! If you look closely on the photos, the marks are there as well. They make them to look a little "worn in." Frye has done this on a number of other shoe designs as well. So if your white soles have a few black marks on them - that's part of the broken-in look. I gave 4/5 on comfort and overall because of the stretch-in time I'll need (whereas with the Frye Reagan shoe, I can wear right out of the box).

These shoes are terrific. They have soft, comfortable soles and leather uppers. They are good to wear with skirts or pants, but why the heck do they not make a 10½? The 10, on these pointy-toed shoes is pinchy across the ball of the foot, and the 11 will not stay on. If they bother to make an 11 at all (and hooray for that), why not make the 10½? I would have bought two if they did. I had to return both pairs.
