I ordered these shoes for both my sons, as they love to match. I am a big fan of See Kai Run shoes, particularly for all the space the provide for the toe area in the shoes. Sadly, the quality is not amazing. My kids do run their shoes pretty hard, but not more so than their peers. These shoes fastenings have NOT held up. The velcro has peeled off on the top attachment, making it impossible to wear. This happened less than TWO months after purchasing. Zappos was great and quickly replaced them. Sadly, my other son's pair is now peeling off, at about 5 months of wear. That seems too quick for how much they cost. I'm gonna have to pass on See Kai Run in the future.

Fit and size is accurate - my kid enjoys them but complains they're not as comfy as his "fast shoes" (Nikes). However, these are HORRIBLE QUALITY! I can't even believe that a shoe that is in this price tier is so poorly made. My 3.5 year old rotates 3 pair of shoes so these aren't is every single day shoes...but in 4.5 WEEKS they have started ripping at the seams. I'm in shock. Maybe they hold up well for a new-to-walk toddler, but certainly not an active kiddo in daycare. The wear and tear this specific shoe has shown in the 4.5 weeks is what I normally see after a full season/5-6 months with other shoe brands (Nike, Keens, Teva, Converse).

Very stylish and comfortable, however, not very durable for my toddler. The rubber toe started peeling after just 2 days of wearing to daycare. I’ll keep them because these are the first pair of shoes he can’t take off his feet! I love the hi top style but I wish they were more durable.

This is maybe the eighth pair of See Kai Runs we've purchased for our boys. They fit great, they're easy to put on, they're ergonomic for growing feet, and they're machine washable. Yes, they run at a higher price point than some other kids shoes, but our boys only have one pair of shoes at a time, since they grow so quickly. We've never had a pair of these sneakers fail on us. The downside is they boys play so hard in them that the shoes have rarely survived in good enough shape to hand down, but that's okay! My boys think they look cool and never fight me about putting their shoes on. We love See Kai Run!

I didn't want to keep these since I already bought sneakers and dressier shoes for back to school. But these are so adorable, bright and well fitting that I couldn't resist. Love this brand.

Do not be fooled by appearances! This is in no way an athletic shoe. There is no support around the ankle and minimal support around the body of the foot. This is a shoe made for easy slipping on and off as a kid comes and goes from the house. It's probably nice for a relaxed day but not good for zipping around a playground or basketball court.

I received these sneakers within a day of ordering, which was awesome! The sneakers are just as nice in person as shown online. Sadly, I have to return them because they were way too small. Either they run small, or Converse sneakers run really big. My son is currently wearing a size 1 in Converse, so I ordered a 1½ in the Kai Run Kids Andy. They are actually much smaller than his size 1 Converse. I will exchange for a size 2½ and hope for the best.

This will be my last pair of Kai’s. They do not hold up. This pair was toast after just a week, the rubber trim in the front came completely off. For $50, total disappointment.

My little guy (toddler 7) had a few pairs of shoes in the rotation, so these didn't get as much attention as I'd originally hoped. It ended up being for the best as the dark blue rubber on the scuffed up day 1 and they look like they have been to war. While he doesn't mind them, they looked shabby pretty quickly and I'm now considering that detail on a shoe a dealbreaker. Especially for newer walkers. Cute shoe, however, now reserved for playing at home and playground.

My toddler has been wearing these shoes exactly six days. We’ve had wear and tear issues with this brand before and this will be my last pair. Shame because they are super cute and wide for chonky feet. Wouldn’t recommend if your child is active, outdoorsy, rides bikes etc. another $55 in the hole. They just don’t last.

The soles on these shoes separated from the uppers after only a month of normal wear. Surprising because previous See Kai Run shoes have held up well. Possibly a manufacturing defect? Returning them, obviously.

Shoe lasted about one week until it started falling apart. Same story with Zappos. Don’t believe we’ll be purchasing any more shoes here. Quality has just decreased substantially it seems.

My son loves See Kai Run shoes - this style is SUPER cute on and my son feels comfortable enough in them to wear them all day.

My kids drag their feet when they ride there strider bikes to stop. These rubber soles and toes are perfect

We bought these shoes for my newly walking son. He was born with a club foot and though it is fully corrected I try to make sure he wears shoes with excellent fit and ankle support. We love these so much we already bought another pair in a different color!

My 5 year old son loved these shoes and so did I. The toe box is a little wider than the converse and Vans high tops we tried on. I loved the other brands as well, but in the long run, these just fit my son better. The other high tops were more pointy at the toe, which would have required a larger size. the larger size made him look like he ws walking in clown shoes. These are easy on/off, fit great and have a hip style that you can wear for a dressier occasion. He literally hasn't taken them off since Christmas! super cute!
