Beautiful boots and superb quality, but unfortunately they just didn't fit my husband's wide, hard to fit feet. The ankle rubbed and the shape just wasn't suitable for his feet. For a man with more "normal" feet these boots would be fabulous.

The Rockport Essential Chukka fit well, are comfortable, and look good, but I have noticed a clunking sound when walking. I don't know why this occurs.

Great price. Good quality workmanship (better than recent Blundstones.) Very well made. Looks a little dressier in real life. Soles have great traction without looking clunky. Very comfortable. But the upper part of the tongue and areas under the laces are man-made materials, which make a squishy-grunt sound when walking. Otherwise a really nice waterproof dress boot.

Very good for the price. The only thing I would change would be to use a finish less vulnerable to cuts and scratches.

These boots are very comfortable but they fit a bit big. They look okay, very simple look. I recommend it for anyone who is looking for a wide width simple boot.

Am using this new pair of boots for the first on cruise trip to Alaska right now. Fits a bit looser and longer than the same size in other Rockports I own; otherwise seems okay. Once the wax on the laces wear off I'm sure the ties will stay put rather than self-untying. Sale price was good.

Toe design was not as sharp as I expected. I was looking for waterproof dress boots where the front toe design of the shoe was sort of like a wingtip design where it has a sharp point, however, not too sharp. The shoes fit wide even for a wide size. These shoes are comfortable.

The Zappos experience is great. The right product delivered as promised with possible returns already accounted for so the customer has an easy time of it. The shoes fit well. I am a Berkenstock wearer so shoes are not my favorites but these will do fine in the winter.

great boots but the sole wore completely through to the padding in less than 6 months, I used to be able to wear Rockports for YEARS but they have since adopted the super thin sole material which just doesn't last. Another great US shoe brand now making a cheap imitation of what it once was.

This shoe is like the Dystin waterproof but has a short toe. I'm not crazy about the short toe but it would be better if you are riding a bike. This shoe takes a few days to break in but it is comfortable and waterproof and scuff proof.

Very much a bulky work boot. One wouldn't be surprised if they were steel toed (they are not). Super shiny. Look like molded plastic instead of leather.

Overall this Dressy Chukka Boot is a fine value and quite comfortable. however, I find the laces quite frustrating. They are very fine and waxed, and they untie constantly unless they are double knotted. I complained to Rockport, but they could not provide alternate replacement laces.

I purchased these for my husband to wear with work wear and still in the snow with grip. The style was decidedly not business enough for that use. They don't have enough shine to wear with a suit. More important, however, they were agony on his feet. He usually prefers Rockport. I have no idea why they hurt so bad but they had to be returned.

Don't let the term "waterproofing material" be confused with waterproof. THESE ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING WATERPROOF!!! They leak and are now making squishy sounds when I walk. I do not walk in puddles but do occasionally walk on wet pavement outside. I have a black pair and a brown pair and both leak equally. Bring on the sun!!!

Rockport Waterproof Dress Chukka -- don't waste your money -- cheaply made in India, much too narrow (I had ordered a EE, and thin leather which would offer no warmth in cold weather.

I have had these shoes less than 6 weeks, wear them 2-3 days a week and the sole is already separating from the upper on the right foot. Dissatisfied.
