These are great shoes for work. They are dressy but comfortable. This is my second pair.

THe fit and size on top of it being waterproof really make this shoe a very important addition to my shoe collection. Very well constructed with a soft comfly inner sole makes this a perfect shoe for anyone in need of a stylish shoe that is weatherproof.

It is a very good product. I got it for a business trip to New York, just in time for the storm with a lot of snow, mud and water on the streets. Excellent waterproof, comfortable, even good protection for cold weather. Excellent choice.

I really like this shoes. They look very nice, wrap around my foot in a very ergonomic way and are waterproof. I have yet to test the waterproofing, but previous Rockports did that very well. They're not as comfortable as other Rockports that I've had in the past, but I gotta say our feet are spoiled with so much memory foam and similar materials. Feet need to be a little tough, and this is (for me) the right amount. I can wear them all day, no problem. Definitely recommend them.

I loved these boots for over two years. Then, the soles cracked. Zappos customer service was awesome, but unfortunately I will have to pay for new boots. I won’t buy this brand again, might as well try something new.

My new favorite work shoes...and I wear a suit every day. Very comfortable, weather resistant and well made. Under suit pants for cannot tell that they are boots. With all the snow in the Northeast this year, I am wearing them every day. Got the, for about the cost on sale here at Zappos, and they were on my doorstep the next day. Awesome purchase experience!

Fit perfectly. Arch support is really good. Rockport made a all around good shoe. To bad the shoe didn't come in other colors, I probably will purchase another pair.

I bought these based on the reviews I read, but found them very, very uncomfortable. I thought they needed time to break in, but even after several months I think I would be more comfortable walking barefoot than wearing these. I thought maybe they were missing the inserts, but I was wrong. I tried replacing them, but that didn't help either. They also have a very shiny, new look, even after several months of wear, which doesn't appeal to me. I will say that they are very weatherproof.

Perfect fit. I have a wide foot and shoes fit perfect. Very comfortable from the start. No need to break in. Great support. Warm and dry and no slip. First day out on ramp was wet and cold.

Great shoe. Needs better supportive insoles

Just ordered these for my dad. He says they fit well, offer a really good grip while walking, and he likes the style. Can’t speak to concerns others have about soles cracking - but first impression is this is a great shoe!

This is my first pair of Rockport boots. I am very satisfied with them. They are both very comfortable to walk in and look great with slacks and jeans.

These things are pretty hardcore for "dress" shoes. I've had this pair for a year and a half, wearing them every workday, and they still look great with some polish. Soles are holding up. More comfortable than they look and nicely weatherproof. Looks good with jeans as well as slacks. True story: For lack of a better boot to wear, I shoveled snow in these the other day. Feet stayed dry.

Dress them up or Dress them down. I've worn these with a Tux and I've worn them with Jeans. They look great in any setting. The insoles that come with are weak at best, but with some added after market insoles the shoes fit and feel fantastic.

This is an addition to my earlier review. This shoe is my go-to daily shoe. I can walk in theses all day. I have flat feet and my feet don't hurt at all! Can't go wrong with Rockport!

I purchased this particular pair of Rockport Dress Chukka, because a close friend was wearing them with a suit and they looked really good. I ordered my pair the next day and with one day delivery I was wearing them. From the moment I put these shoes on I could already feel the quality and craftsmanship. That day it was raining so I put them to the test to see how the shoe held up to water, Without a doubt the best waterproof dress shoe I have ever purchased. Thank You Zappos for caring such high quality shoes. In addition the shoe ran true to size.

I purchased the Rockport Leather Waterproof Chukka without consulting my son; usually a giant mistake. We had just received a good snowfall the day the big Zappos box arrived. I had also purchased other casual shoes (for him). I told him the Zappos box had arrived and he said I can't even wear any of them on a day like this. I told him to open the larger shoebox and his expression was priceless! These are waterproof? He immediately gets clean socks and puts them on. He's walking around, puts on his coat and walked outside (nothing had been shoveled). He comes back in and says these feel great! Did you order these? He loved the padded collar and the way they felt on the first try, especially the support; really liked the out sole too; thought the leather was beautiful and then read about the Hydro-Shield waterproofing substance tanned into the leather and special seam sealant to keep feet dry. I said so ya think ya might keep them? Because I did buy them. He has definitely kept them! And yes they can certainly pass as a dress shoe the leather is very nice. They are sturdy, stable, and hardwearing. And I must add there are approximately 675 types/brands of these shoes on Zappos. Some are flimsy, most were not waterproof, and most of the prices were well over the price of this shoe. You can't go wrong and now my son knows that!

Really like these dressy boots. They look great with anything from nice jeans, to khakis, to dress slacked and are very comfortable. The toe is a little pointy but not overly so. I ordered a pair and as soon as I tried them on, I ordered 2 more. Pretty much my favorite dressy footwear now.

The shoes look and feel great. Wear with jeans or dress slacks. Only caveat is that the laces do not stay tight. I ordered a pair of OrthoStep 32" laces from Amazon. They look exactly like the old ones, but they stay laced.

Amazing boot. I got these for my husband for this past winter in NY. We had so much snow and these boots got him through. Waterproof and oh sooo comfortable. They were appropriate for the office.

Excellent shoe for dress or casual. I can say the quality and fit are very good. Rockport makes an excellent shoe.

Tried 4 other brands and prices for design, comfort, quality, and dryness. These boots beat all of the others. And, they look great every day. The treads do not slip even on black ice.

Great service from Zappos. Shoe style is excellent In that it’s appropriate for tie and jacket as well as more casual. They allow me to leave one pair of shoes at home when traveling. Only down side is seeing very small creases during break in wearing. Conditioning / polish may help.

Nice dress boot for the money. I wear orthotics and they fit perfectly in the Wide with the insoles removed.
