I bought my first pair of Teva Original Universal sandals in 2016 and I have worn them to death. I still wear them to do yard work and walk around town but it was time to buy a nicer pair or two. I bought two pair in the same size as before (7) and both pair are slightly smaller than my first pair. As you can see from the photos, the new shoes on the left foot just barely fit. I can live with the new size, but be aware the new sizing appears to be slightly smaller.

I usually wear a size 8.5 and ordered this sandal in an 8 and a 9. The 8 was slightly too small lengthwise and I returned it. It was fine when just standing or walking around inside, but if I were hiking or walking down a hill then my toes would fall over the edge a lot. The size 9 fit me better and I kept them. If you''re between sizes then I suggest going up half a size.

This are the only sandals I travel with and replace them whenever they wear out. They are great for walking and adjust to my feet in all types of conditions. I use them for hiking, swimming, walking, and whatever life throws at me.

I've tried making Chacos work for me over the past 6 years (trying two different pairs at different times), but they've always hurt my feet. I finally realized it's because I have flat feet (possibly fallen arches) and their sandals feel like I have a hard ball under my foot. So with that being said, I have discovered that Tevas are perfect for me! The arch is just moderate so they don't hurt at all by the end of the day. Everyone has different needs for their feet (I'm only 31, but have had 6 pregnancies and I think they've taken a toll on me), so while one person may say "there's not enough arch support" another will rave about how great these are. The only breaking in I'm having to do is with the texture of the foot bed. It's sort of bumpy, so after the first few hours of wearing them the first day my feet felt a little rubbed raw. But on day two it's better. So I'm thinking you just have to wear the texture down a little bit. And the material on the sides did rub some soreness on my outside toes, but a band aid or moleskin for the sandal will take care of that. :)

I owned my first pair of Tevas 25 years ago. I lived in them. My mother made fun of my "Jesus" shoes until I convinced her to get a pair. She wore them everyday after work to go for beach walks or hiking. We have both said over the years that the original Tevas were the best and wished they still made them. FINALLY our wishes came true!! Living in New Orleans, my sandals get a lot of wear. Festival season is upon us and I am now prepared to dance come rain or shine in my new "old" Tevas. I have worn Tevas over the years but none fit me the way these do. I am a true 7 1/2 but have always worn 8 as the arch fits better than sizing down to a 7. I got the black pair yesterday and almost slept in the last night but my husband asked me not to...now for the hard part-which other color do I want to order?

As another reviewer said, these are thick flip-flops with straps. I wear my Tevas to get 3-way adjustment and serious support. Why is Teva bringing back these lame sandals?

Don't expect great arch support from this style. However, they are lightweight and very comfortable. For an all day hiking sandal, I would wear the Terra Fi for the arch support and treaded bottom, but these are great for casual everyday. The coral color is very pretty for the summer and I get a lot of complements on them.

I loved the pattern on these right away and they felt good and fit good. I wore them all day new, two days in a row at Wisconsin Dells water park. My flip flops got slippery on wet floors and these didn't, I felt safe and secure. They are very comfortable and my legs and back didn't ache like it did with my Airwalk sandals like these. I felt like these were soft enough to absorb the shock of walking all day. I wear either a 9 or 9 1/2 in most shoes and these went with a 9 and they really do fit perfectly. I've enjoyed them and will by buying them again.

Teva sandals are not worn for style, and yet, why not? With white jean, the white ones are great for summer. They're comfortable and cool like any other pair of Teva, but the whites carry a note of summer. I never thought about how much I enjoy wearing the whites until the first time I put them on. Now, when I walk into my closet and see them, I smile.

This is my first Teva product and won't be my last. I bought these sandals for a beach resort trip thinking especially that I need a non slip secured sandals as I recently had knee surgery. These sandals held well in the water. I didn't slip, thank goodness. A plus is the adjustable straps on both near the toes and ankle. I usually wear a 7.5 women, but I got the 7 women. It fitted just right and that's where the adjustable straps come in handy. These are pretty comfortable to walk in and kind of cute too. I got the black and white one.

Nice and light but stylish and durable. Adjustable straps and fun but somewhat neutral pattern. I wear a 6.5 and the 6 fit perfectly.

I have been putting off buying these for a few years and finally made the purchase and my only regret is not getting them sooner. They are so comfortable! I always size down in my sandals because I have skinny feet. Normally 7.5 in sandals so I went for size 7 and they fit perfectly.

I freakin' love my Tevas! I've wanted the celestial sun/moon print since the 90's and they're finally mine! I'm blown away by how comfortable they are, also.

These are gorgeous!! True to size. I’m typically an 8 and that’s what I ordered and they fit perfectly. Super happy ???
