Very nice classic shoe, like it better than the varsity version. I did reorder a half size smaller (seems too long), and in the wide to make sure the toes were roomy enough. So happy to have found these. Check out Muffys.com for saddles as well, especially if you prefer all leather (including sole and heel).

I absolutely love these saddle shoes! I wore saddle shoes through grade school and high school and loved them then and love them now. I have gotten so many compliments when wearing them. They are a bit stiff and I did get blisters on my heels so they do need a breaking in period. I did use a hair dryer to put some heat on the backs and that did make them softer for a short time. I will continue to wear until fully broken in and comfortable. I am just happy to have saddle shoes once again!

The fit is Accurate. I normally wear 8.5W, and ordered what was in stock 8W and 9W and neither fit. I needed an 8.5W. These are not expensive shoes so don't expect the highest quality. I found the crease that forms along the top of the foot when you walk to really hurt and I imagine it would take some time to break in. The overall look is acceptable, so if this is the look you are going for and you want leather but don't want to spend a ton, then you will likely like these. Note that I bought these for my 5 year old daughter and she loves them! They will scuff on the toe as expected, so you will need white shoe polish.

These are going to be hard to soften up. That’s ok.. I’m an equestrian so I’m used to treating leather. They are so dang cute!

I bought these for a Halloween costume but they are nice enough to wear all the time. Great fit, comfortable and fantastic quality.

I absolutely love these shoes and couldn't wait to wear them. The very first time I wore them a sales girl chased me down the aisle to ask where I bought them. So retro! Although, I'm no longer in grade school and hated having to wear them way back when, feel so cool now.

My daughter was wide feet and as she gets older it is increasingly harder to find her saddle shoes for their school uniform. This is the second year we buy these shoes. Last year’s held up the entire school year perfectly. Great shoe for school or casual wear, especially for an older kid with wide feet.

i put excellent arch support, but its hard to tell since i'm wearing ankle supports right now, i wore shoes like these when i was a kid with plastic arch supports my foot doctor had made for me, and lately i thought i was having the same problems but my heals where leaning over on the inside of my foot had ex rays done on my ankles and have arthritis in them, so i ordered these shoes to wear with these braces i bought hoping i can train my ankles to be straight up an down, these shoes are made well feel good and keep your feet in a firm comfortable position. i glad i bought them and will again

very cute style... rather stiff feeling but would probably "break in".. unfortunately, I have developed a Morton's neuroma so can't wear any close fitting shoes!

This shoes are fantastic!! So comfy and pair perfectly with jeans, skirts, whatever you want! However, I took other reviewers advice and sized up half a size. Throughout the day, they stretched out so badly that they were sliding off my heel. I'm a true size 8, and ordered an 8.5 based on other reviewers opinions. These are real leather and stretch out with wear. I do not suggest sizing up and go with your regular size. They're stiff at first, but stretch out and feel so comfortable. High quality, and the 8's I exchanged them for fit perfectly.

Hi oxford lovers I received my shoes today and they fit perfectly. I wear a 7.5 shoe but for this shoe I found that a size 8 works it well. If a person is a true 7.5 I suggest ordering a 1/2 size up. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. Stylish, comfortable, sturdy I highly recommend this I know that I'm going to receive many compliments. Thank You ZAPPOS.

I am a 65 year old male and have been wearing saddle shoes for 50+ years. I love this interpretation of the classic saddle oxford styling, and in my opinion, is equally suitable for both women and men. They are very light in weight with more of a crepe than rubber sole. After only a week of limited daily wear, they are truly comfortable. I did order 1/2 size larger than I have in the past for women's sized shoes and in the wide width, and they fit perfectly. All in all, I am delighted with my Upper Class saddle shoes and recommend them without reservation.

I love these shoes. I have trouble finding shoes in Wide so it was a pleasant surprise to find these. Comfortable. I broke my foot and needed a good sturdy shoe for support.

My experiences with with purchasing my daughter shoes for school were great. I ordered a size 6 and a half; the shoe was too small. I contacted Zappos customer service and the lady who helped return the shoe for a size 7 was very helpful and I was not charged for return and the shoe was at my door 2 days later. Thanks Zappos. I recommend.

I have hunted for these shoes for a long time. I yearned to find a pair of saddle oxfords like I used to wear in my early days of school. I should of known if it can be found Zappos will have it.

Great shoe and good bargin. Bought size 7.5 for wife who just got another pair of shoes, but they had to be a size 8.5. Don't know which one is more size true. This is the third saddle shoe bought from Zappos in three years.

I stretched them a bit and they fit better. The wide was too narrow.

These are a nice, classic looking saddle. Unfortunately, zappos was out of my size and the size above and below did not work. These shoes are not expensive, so one cannot expect the highest of quality, but, for the price they are good. I found the tongue to be too thick, but everything else was good.
