Cons: Returned because it is floppy. Kind of folds/wrinkles in "waves" over my eyes. Pros: lightweight, chin straps removable. Fairly wide brim to block sun.

As fish biologists, we're in the field constantly and often in direct sunlight and during long hot summer days. We've have chosen the Bora Bora II Booney as one of two standard hats issued to our field crews to protect them from the sun while being light enough to keep their heads comfortable. The hat is very popular with our crews and I recommend it for anyone spending time in the field. Excellent product.

The hat is great! I work on a farm so both sun and rain protection are necessary and this hat does both. The service from Zappos from the first contact to receipt of the hat was fabulous!

I had one of these and I bought 3 more so everyone in my family had one for our trip to Mexico in July. Awesome hat. Great for rain and sun and lightweight! Columbia products are the best and Zappos never dissappoints!

This is a great hat, good fit and covers up my head and neck well. I have to be very cautious of being exposed to the sun due to melanoma and we often forget about our scalp. This one is fabulous

Recently purchased this hat to wear for my job at a garden center where I'm outside in the sun(and occasional rain!) for 6 hours a day. It is perfect, exactly what I wanted! It is lightweight, allows air flow, has a large enough brim to protect my face and neck from the blazing mid afternoon sun, and the under chin strap keeps it from blowing off in occasional gusts. It is also water repellent when necessary. Size is adjustable and the hat is crushable but it's easy to correct its shape. Reasonably priced, too. Love it!

Super functional. Light and airy, with chinstrap playing MVP. Got me four miles down into the Grand Canyon at 1pm in May. Lean into the dorkiness of the silhouette and you’ll be golden. Highly recommend.

Nice fitting hat. Plenty of room for larger heads. I cinched mine up a little and it is very comfortable. This is not my most glamorous hat. I wanted it for sun protection and to cover up my hair. Works well. I won’t leave my house without it this summer!

Fits perfect. Can accommodate 7 1/4 hat size. Cool and light to wear (in Florida) for yard work. Arrives flat in box (not folded up) so hat brim is fully extended with no creases. Great price (especially with Prime). Zappos has a large selection of hats from which to choose. Replaces a hat from LL Bean which was too small and was a choice of one. Caution on label: don't machine wash or use bleach. A great buy.

Just came back from Arizona and wore this hat many times in the desert sun and it worked perfectly. Stayed on without a problem, kept me as cool as possible and looked good. My head is slightly larger than normal and sometimes I wear my hair up which makes the fit even tighter but I had no problem with the fit. I packed it in my suitcase and it had no effects of being flattened. I'd highly recommend this product.

Bought this for a week in Kauai. Wore it every day except one beach day. Scalp got burnt that day! Good hat. Stayed on under all conditions (boating Na Pali coast) thanks to adjustable head size and under chin strap. Flexible enough to fold and pack. Washed it off in the shower and hung to dry. Ready to go the next day. Not cute or stylish but completely comfortable and functional.

Great hat. Lot's of venting. A size adjustment toggle at the back of the head and a chin strap make this hat perfect for me.

While it is a nice hat, it was much too big for me. It would have been helpful to know the depth of the hat and the width of the brim. Be wary of one size fits all!!

The brim looks much more rigid in the photo, but in actuality, it is pretty floppy. So, you can quickly look to your right, or left, and not be able to see as brim is flopped down! I almost sent this back, as will not be able to use it for the activity I bought it for, but decided to keep it for general use.

This hat is by far one of the greatest in the market (tested a few from other brands), best value for quality-price. The straps allow to fit to any size, and they are very helpful to avoid it from flying away on windy conditions. Taking it to all my hikes!

Great hat for outdoors with a big enough brim to give you enough shade - material feels nice and comfy, and the adjustable fit and the hanging strap comes in very handy.

Like that the band size is adjustable, and that the underside of the brim is a dark fabric. Seems to be a good hat to wear when hiking in the summer and for working in the garden.

Excellent! I use it all the time when I go to the countryside or to the beach or to the terrace of my house when I want to stay to eat without worrying about the sun.

Very comfortable, good quality hat if you need sun protection outdoors, especially if you're wearing it for extending periods of time. The material holds well after washing and doesn't wrinkle like off brand knockoffs. Would recommend to friends and family
