These were way too long for me. I ordered a wide, and in this (too long) size, the toe box was sufficiently wide, but I fear that if I ordered a size smaller, the toe box would be too narrow. The instep has good cushioning, and there is a (futile) attempt at arch support at the instep. (Why don't they shape pumps so that the outsole approximates the shape of an actual instep? Then a little padding in the insole would be sufficient to help with higher arches.) I like the stacked heel. The last could be lower on the foot.

Strange fit. Had to buy size smaller than usual. Even then there is a gap between my heal and the heal of the foot. Foot slips out of shoe. Overall a bad fitting shoe.

I was excited to read reviews by others that said these shoes were wide in the front and narrow in the heel, but I was very disappointed to find that the toe box was too tight and the heel slipped, like every other pair of pumps I've tried. I ordered two different sizes, but they are both going back.

First, please listen to all the other reviewers who have shared that the shoe runs large. It really, truly runs large! I could put my finger in the back of the shoe while it was on my foot, that's how big it ran. The other problem is that in person, this shoe was just boring, dull and a big yawnfest to me. Zero style, the leather looks flat, weirdly flat, in person. I ordered the 7 1/2 N and could have gone with a 7N, possibly a 6 1/2 N. But it's ugly so I'm not going to try.

Love that you can find nice pumps in a comfortable narrow size. After wearing for a couple of months I find the heel has stretched and these now slip. I am disappointed...they were quite expensive and did fit nicely at first. :(

I wanted to like these plain black pumps, but alas they were not made for my narrow foot. The shoe was not narrow enough in the heel or anywhere else. Thanks to Zappos I can return these shoes at no charge.

These didn't appear to me to be real Rockport shoes. The insole particularly looked knock off. And they were very narrow across the toe box (they dug into the knuckle of my big toe). I've worn and loved Rockport in the past, but these felt/looked cheap and they weren't comfortable at all. I don't have weird, hard to fit feet. It was the shoe.

This is a beautiful shoe and it seems like it would actually be comfortable but unfortunately, it's almost a full size too big. I wear a size 5W and every Rockport shoe I've tried so far has been too big. I think this brand has made it to my 'Don't even try.' list. Too bad... they're always so cute. 2 stars because their sizing for the size 5 is so far off.

Very disappointed! Bought these pumps thinking they would be an ideal choice for work. With the Rockport name and Adidas padding inside I figured they would be very comfortable. Tried them on at home and they felt just fine. Wore them twice and they were so uncomfortable, actually painful, that I could hardly walk. They do not seem to be stretching at all. They are a beautiful style pump, unfortunately I will not be able to wear them.

Squeaky! I am so exasperated with comfort shoes that squeak. I understand it must be due to the cushioning, but I don't know why some do and some don't. The pair of these that I tried did, so they're going back.

I wear a size 8 W always. These Rockport shoes are beautiful and I wanted to keep them. The 8 W had about an inch extra at the heel. I could walk in them in my house, but the extra length at the heel was obvious. So, I ordered a 7 and a 7 1/2 wide. The 7 I could barely get on my feet and the 7 and 1/2 still had some length showing at the heel. Sent the 7 back and got gel heel thingys to place at the back of the shoe. Not perfect, but I loved these shoes and how they looked on my feet. Walked fine with them in the house without heel slippage. Wore them to my grandaughter's confirmation in the evening and after 2+ hours of standing and walking, I didn't think I could make the walk home. My feet were killing me. Can't send them back b/c I already wore them outside. These are lovely shoes if you find the right fit. Alas, not for me.

I was excited to have a better quality made pump to wear to work; however, after just three days of wearing these Rockport heels I was very disappointed. They scuff and scratch so easily that they already look worn out! A coworker asked why I was still wearing my old beat-up shoes and I had to inform her they were my practically brand new Rockport Comfort Craving Pilot Path shoes. Very disappointed! They look terrible and I am angry I spent this much on them!

These were the WORST shoes I have ever worn in my life. I wore them for a conference in Florida and within minutes of walking to my meeting my feet hurt and they started to sweat and rub. The combination did horrible damage to the skin on my toes and ankle area. I would never recommend a pair of shoes from this manufacturer again. They must not test their shoes on humans.

Very narrow, even wide size was too narrow. Lots of useless space in the very pointy front. Makes your foot look large.

Can tell these shoes are cheaply made in China...too big, too wide, too stiff, and very uncomfortable. Always loved Rockports for quality and comfort but not anymore. Definitely returning these.

Hard to judge comfort. I ordered a size five. These were at least a full size larger than the label.

These shoes look nice and professional. They feel great when you first try them on. However, once you walk across a hotel to the office complex on a consulting gig and feel like you are about to die, you will feel differently. They are too narrow across the toe box, even in the wide. They definitely do not allow for the natural motion of the toes in walking. I had two screaming red blisters by the time I got to my client's office. It was less than a ten minute walk. I was so mad. I could have had the same result with $15 heels from a department store. I had to actually ask for a break in our session and go back to my room to change my shoes. I was so embarrassed. No more Rockports for me. What a shame - my Rockport Lucianas were the best shoes I've ever owned, allowing for the foot to function properly while walking, and a nice heel. But, they don't make them anymore.
