Excellent arch support, very comfortable for walking or standing for long periods.

Outstanding! The Florida soft footbed sandals are extremely comfortable with no break in required. I was hesitant to try the Birkibuc instead of leather, but I am so glad I did. The Birkibuc is soft, pliable, and has a nice matt finish. I wear size 7D in New Balance athletic shoes and a 6 in most sandals. The 36 Regular in these is a perfect fit, as if they were made for my feet.

I have a wide foot with short toes and Birkenstock sandals always fit. This is my 3rd pair in 15 years. They last forever. I’m a 7W and the 38 fit my Fred Flintstone feet perfectly. The support makes the shoes more comfortable than going barefoot. The 3-strap style of the Florida is less clunky than the Arizona...not that anyone is going to call these shoes dainty. They are what they are - and they do it brilliantly.

This is my fourth pair of the Birkenstock Florida sandal. I wear them everywhere and pretty much all the time because they are so comfortable. I had bunions (till I had a bunionectomy on both feet), and before and after my surgeries, this was the most comfortable shoe for me to where. The straps secure your foot just above and just below your bunions, so you can adjust how tight they fit and know that a strap will not be pulled across that sensitive spot. They wear well and like all Birkenstocks, adjust to your foot, so that they always fit perfectly. I will wear these until they wear out (about 2 years because I literally wear them all the time except if there's snow outside or I'm exercising) and replace them with the same pair.

ahhh. Because of something akin to turf toe, I am currently only able to wear a pair of dansko platform sandals and these comfort sandals. They make my feet happy and feel oh so good. They are not bad looking, just not my go-to style. However, they feel so good on that for the first time in my life, I prefer this to bare feet. I am needing stability and protection and these do it all. They are true to size. I am usually a size 7 and size 38 is perfect for moi.

Gives great arch support for my foot after having surgery!

I've been wearing various styles of Birks for many years and have always been happy with them. Easy to slip on and off, easily adjustable across the top of the foot, and good arch support. I found them particularly comfortable when I was dealing with a very stubborn case of plantar fasciitis a year ago. When I wasn't wearing my Vionics, I wore the Birks. I usually wear a 7 1/2 shoe; the 38 in the Birkenstocks fit right. The footbed does get rather gross after a while but I consider it part of "the experience".

Theses shoes are great. I have an issue with one foot being larger than the other because of vein issues. These shoes allow me to have room for my foot especially my big toe which is always being squeezed in regular closed toe shoes. I have been wearing them around the house as a slipper but will probably wear them outside during the summer. I have tried a wider shoe and a larger size but then my other foot is swimming in the shoe.

No break-in with the soft footbed. The soft footbed does feel different from the traditional, more arch support.

This is my 4th pair of this style. The soft footbed is wonderful and especially easy to break in. I use these primarily for my house shoes all year round. Great for anyone with orthopedic problems like bunions or hammertoes too.

I purchased 2 pair of Birkenstocks, because I wasn't sure what size would fit best. I kept one and returned the second pair. The return process was easier than dealing with a department store. I absolutely love my new Birkenstock Florida Soft Footbed, and want to purchase more in many different colors!

Love these Birkis. They are comfortable from the first time I put them on. There was no break in time as I have had with other Birkis. Highly reccommend.

Glad to have found the style I like for it's comfort and usefulness. May not be the most in style and I like a sandal that stays on my foot!

I have been a Birkie fan for years but really enjoy these sandals as they look more stylish. I bought 2 pairs in different colors. As usual Zappos service is incredible. I ordered at 10pm one night and they were there the next day. Don't know how they do it.

I've been a Birk fan since I wore them on a Europe vacation every day for three weeks after college (that was a long time ago!). I love Birkenstocks and these soft footbed ones are even more awesome! I strongly recommend them!

I love the fit of the Florida Birkenstocks! They are so very comfortable. If you have not tried the soft foot bed you will fall in love. I wear these sandals every chance I get. They have replaced my house slippers and my athletic shoes. I cannot wait to get them on my feet after wearing steel toe shoes at work all day. I like the fun colors of the Florida papillio brand too. I own quite a few!

I have needed a new pair of Birks for a very long time now, but have been hesitant to spend the money on myself. Best decision I ever made, great price, delivered on time and I haven't taken them off since.

I have a wide foot so I sized up to a 40 instead of 39. Glad this shoe comes with the soft footbed and regular/wide. I've been breaking in for over a week and have not had any blisters or sore spots. I'm a chacos wearer but very happy with my first pair of Birks.

I tried the Florida with the soft footbed, hoping the result would be better than my experience in the 1970s. Well, the footbed is better, unlike the rock-hard originals. I liked the three straps, that adjusted great for my slim foot. But, my arch doesn't match the arch of the sandal, and the ridge at the outside of the sandal was a killer. Darn.

The soft footbed is my favorite footbed. I have painful plantar fasciitis and the Birkenstock soft footbed feels like a dream. I ordered the Florida in a neutral tan (mocha?) Birkibuc. I like the Birkibuc. It was soft against my skin. I have a pair of the Birkibuc sandals in a pattern that I’ve had for a year or more and they are wearing well. I wear them a lot and they’re durable and still look nice. I like the coppery-colored buckles. They look nice against the neutral straps. I ordered these in a regular and I’m sending them back because they are too wide for my narrow, low-volume feet. I had to tighten the straps down as far as they would go and because they are so wide, the shoes look odd on my feet. I was also concerned about tripping in them. I will try a narrow width or a different style and see if those will work.
