The shoes are well made and have the look and feel of an boat/dock shoe in an Oxford package. While they are more comfortable than the typical dock shoe, after a few hours on my feet I find my "dogs are barkin'."

I have bought a lot of Rockport wide/xwide shoes from Zappos but these felt smaller than usual for a 105 XW. The left shoe fit better than the right but I had to exchange it for a different model. Shoes look great, however.

I wore these shoes three times and the laces started to shred apart and a cross-hatch pattern started to show on the top of the toe box. I could accept the marring on the top, but I had to order new shoe laces within two weeks of buying these shoes. I think I won't order Rockport shoes again.

Very comfortable, stylish, feels like it will last a long time. I actually ordered this shoe and a clarks at the same time. Wanted to test the return policy. I sent the clarks back. The return procedures was incredibly easy, smooth, flawless. Good for you Zappos.

These are great shoes. I wear them to work everyday with cotton khakis and often with a tie. Dressy, yet casual. Also, I'm a big boy and these are like riding on a great set of tires. Very comfortable and cushioned. Good traction. The heel makes these much more comfortable than the prowalker series. Note that the dark brown is very dark - almost black. The dark tan is more brown than tan and is much more appealing to me. I will buy these as long as Rockport makes them.

These are wonderful shoes, I have two pair - black and brown. I have had them in the past and always come back to them. They last me two years, I wear them to work every day. Very well made and comfortable. The size true and I am, as always extremely happy with them.

I work as a videographer, and I bought these specifically to have a dress shoe that I could be comfortable in for hours on end at fancier events. It does not disappoint. It's well cushioned throughout the the bottom, and the best part is the thick padded collar. Most dress shoes dig in above my heel after a few hours. These are comfortable and supportive all night. The only con is I'm not really into the boat shoe or stressed leather look. A little old man for my taste, but the comfort trumps style for me.

Great looking shoe, a good balance between business and casual (and maybe even a little dressier, it might be possible to pull off with the right suit). As with most Rockports, this ran a little long (half a size), but the shoe is just a little narrower than I'd like (but with some wear, it'll eventually fit correctly). I had ordered the Dark Tan Leather, but mine are really dark, to the point where I think I was sent the wrong color (I think someone else said that too). But as far as a work shoe, this is perfect, I am toying with the idea of getting a pair in black, because I think they might have discontinued this model (I hope not).

As cross between a dress and work shoe, this shoe is about what is expected comfort and style wise. Although it falls under the Rockport Walkability brand, I wouldn't use 'walkability' to describe these shoes: good heel support but not enough at the balls of the feet. It also has great stitching at the seams. Overall good rugged and stylish black shoe.

Fit great, but the sole began separating from the shoe after only a few months

This may be the first time I've ever returned a Rockport shoe and may be my first negative review of a shoe on Zappos. I have been wearing this style and color shoe for several years now and it is my "go to" business shoe because of comfort and style. However, what I received in the mail was totally different. Per label, made in India now. The leather was extremely stiff and uncomfortable (prior versions are extremely soft leather). Half size too long. BUT, biggest difference is that the Dark Tan no longer looks anything like the photo on this site or my prior shoes. All of the stitching is actually WHITE and not BROWN. Seriously, if this had not come from Zappos, I would have thought it to be a fake Rockport. Rockport makes the best shoes and Zappos is the best shoe seller - I'm not sure what happened here. Will have to find old style or go with something else.

The sole separated from the heel. It appears the only thing holding the sole to the heal of the shoe is glue and it was not enough. I had only worn the shoes for a week. I had ordered this same shoe previously and had to return it for a defective shoe lace. I wore the shoe 2 days and the laces began unthreading. Will not purchase this pair again.

The shoes fit well in the toe box, the heel, and in the arch. The pebbled leather has a quality leather feel to it. The shoes are not heavy but feel quite durable.

Bought this early for a Christmas present. Look great. I Know my husband will be pleased Christmas Day.

These are great shoes. Bought them to replace a pair that my dad had for many years. Hoping these hold up just as well!

Very comfortable and great fit

Great shoe. Works for both work and casual. Wide was too wide and regular a bit tight, but the overall comfort of the shoe makes them my husband's current favorite!

Due to the true fit of the shoe, it is not necessary to size up when buying for a wide foot (my usual action). The build quality of the shoe seems robust with its heavier gauge thread and three lines of stitching. The leather is supple and should not require excessive wear-time for shoe break-in. I am unable to provide insight regarding the moisture resistance of the leather, as the shoes have not been subjected to wet conditions. Aesthetically the shoes look great and I hope to get a few years use out of them.

After trying several pairs of Rockport shoes , I finally found a pair that fit my wide foot. Love the shoes but more important, dealing with the Zappos's folks in customer service made the experience even better.

My last pair finally bit the dust. I like the support and weight of the shoes. They give good support. I am waiting for the same shoe in black. That may take a few days to a week or so. I think Mr. Zappos should get a normal haircut. I would never hire him even though he has a lot more money than me.

I wear a EE size which you identify as a W on the shoe. I feel a wonderful support and fit with this shoe. Also, you can feel the bottom of the shoe when you walk for a very secure feeling. I believe I will wear this shoe a very long time and then, hopefully, order another one just like it. David

Easy to research online & make my decision. Great value from Lockport Zappos made it easy to purchase.
