So disappointed when I received these boots because I love the design. Normally I wear a size 9, but I ordered an 8.5 in medium width. Well, the boots were still way too big, and felt extremely wide as well. Even if I put on thick, fluffy socks it wouldn't have made up the difference. In addition, the sides of the boot puckered in at awkward, stiff points right below the ankle on both sides of the foot (both feet), which felt painful even through tall socks. Not sure if this was a defect or all the boots are like this. :( Returned, not going to try my luck with a smaller size.

I loved everything about this boot except the spaciousness. WAY too big in the heel. What IS it about size 11 shoes that manufacturers assume the wearer has an enormous (and not just long) foot and calf?

Awful. The leather seems more like man-made to me. The ankles are loose and sloppy. I should have known by the price, but was hopeful they'd be better than they are. I haven't had cowboy boots for years and the last ones were a beautiful lizard - of course, a lot more expensive than these. So disappointed.

I normally wear a size 8, but these boots in an 8 are too long! I suspect the 7 1/2 would fit, but I am just going to return them. I was *extremely* disappointed that the boot leg is lined with vinyl! Ick!

Heartbreaking. These were my dream boots, very confortable and stylish. The first day I wore them, both pull straps started to come off. Unfortunately the craftsmanship is crap. Zappos as usual provided great customer service and let me return them. I wish I could keep them but no way I would pay to have brand new boots repaired.

The boot felt flimsy as if made of something other than leather. Scuffed, tore and marked easily while wearing on carpet.

Oh my goodness. Let me just say, I've seriously been wanting these boots forever. I finally got them recently, and they are even better looking in person! And so comfy. I have a wide foot (like, "I absolutely hate going shoe shopping" wide), and so I got these in the wide width, and they fit like a dream! I ordered the 10W, and they are seriously perfect. Definitely true to length as well. Oh, and being on the thicker side, I also have big calves, so boots are usually a problem, but...they fit! If you have any reservations while considering buying these, throw them in the wind! Best boot purchase of my life.

Wanted a new pair of boots. Loved the look of these boots. They were even better looking in person than online. Love the sqaure toe. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Cute and well made - like the insole for comfort. Was unfortunately a half size too small and the large opening made my legs look like sticks - not good with the dress I need them for.

Hi, these are really pretty boots and also a little rugged which is perfect. Note that the heel is synthetic instead of stacked leather; great for actual equestrian activities. I had to return them, though, because they just weren't wide enough. Also they're quite tight around the instep. To be fair, my instep is quite high. So if your feet are wide but with a low instep, they may work.

These were huge. I bought 10 pairs of boots (gotta love Zappos) for my two daughters and me to try. We all wear about the same size and have similarly high arches and thick ankles and calves. The Justin's were way big all over, but especially loose through the ankle and heel. The leather was nice and the turquoise stitching was really pretty. Sorry to have to return them.

These were my first ever pair of boots and since I have big calves, a wide foot, and a high instep, I was worried these wouldn’t work out! They totally did!!! I wore them to a rodeo/concert and was on my feet for 7 hours without having broken them in yet and they were fantastic!!! :) I only wish there were other color options so I could get a second pair.

Gorgeous boots. Great quality for great price. I ordered a half-size smaller than my normal shoe, because leather stretches, but that still felt too loose on my foot. I returned them and bought some equally lovely boots that I was able to try on in the store.

Beautiful boots! Comfortable but sadly too big so have to go back...the wide width was great felt just too big around ankle.....

Sorrel Apache Justin J Flex Western Boot #7607212, Size 5.5 C-width: LOVE! Rec'd in April 2016 and after putting them to the real test here in October, need to say how happy I am with them. Not only are they gorgeous but can be used as a walking boot. Great ankle support, leather & stitching durable, arch and sole top notch. True test--They hold up: Mud from summer here on our farm recently washed by flooded big city streets. No trace of their adventures looking almost brand new! For a small wide foot gal, i've had years of searching for my perfect cowgirl boots and now I have 'em. Going to be adding more Justin boots to my collection!

I love these boots. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I like the darker brown which really accentuates the stitching.

These are the most comfortable boots or shoes I own! Yes, they are snipped, but from day one they were comfortable and beautiful! I wear a 9½W but do not need a wide shaft. These are perfect. I am looking for another cute Justin so I have a back-up. Incredible quality, comfort and beauty.

Love these boots. Gave them 5 stars all around except in style. I wish they were a bit more pointed and less boxy but still a great style boot! The cost was great too. It felt true to size and width. I ordered a HALF SIZE DOWN because I read a previous review about the stretch factor. They fit my foot perfect. I also read the review to how a Justin boot should fit and it was very helpful.

I procrastinated for months before ordering these boots. I wear a 9 1/2 wide and haven't actually had cowboy boots since I was about 12. Bunions make my feet an absolute nightmare to shop for, and cowboy boots, with the usual pointed toe, just don't work anyway. After reading reviews and noting that the toe was square, not pointed, I decided to give them a whirl. What was I waiting for?! I love them. The wide is truly a wide and the more I wear them the more they mold to my feet. They are really comfy, well made and a beautiful color. I ordered my usual boot/running shoe size. As usual, Zappos delivery was faster than the speed of light. Thank you Zappos! My feet look cute!

Cute boots but run big. I have a very high arch so always order boots in wide when available or up one size. Made the mistake with these of going up a size and c width, They were huge! So if you're a wide order your reg. size.

Love these boots. They look great and they're comfortable. The only issue is that they are a half size bigger than the size boots (& athletic shoes, for that matter) that I usually wear. I had to exchange them for the half-size smaller.

These are awesome. They fit like a glove look great with the square toe. They are definitely serious looking boots that say you mean business! I am a true 8.5 on the narrow side and I had to go with an 8 that fit perfect.

The most comfortable cowgirl book ever. Great looking, too. I have tried on dozens of styles and nothing came close to fitting my wide feet and orthotic like this boot. Most of the others, even in wide width, did not have the height in the toe box to accommodate my orthotic. And the J-flex foot bed is fantastic - these boots allow your feet to flex from day one, no break-in required. These are taller and slimmer than most others (wide calf gals take note). I love them.
