We ordered several Braxton hats for Christmas. My husband has a large hat, but these were a perfect fit. Sometimes hats are too small for him. We ordered 3 that he loved.

This is a great hat and excellent quality. My hat size runs between a 7 1/4 ( top side of MD) and 7 3/8 (bottom end of LG) depending on the style and cut/ My head is just a tad under 23". I took a chance on the MD fot this hat and it fits perfectly.

I get compliments on this hat all the time. I always feel like women's hats are slightly small on me, but I bought this in medium and it fits great!

This is a great quality item at a fair price. Zappos customer service is second to none. This is the way to shop online.

I love these hats. I have bought two: Brown/Gold tweed and Black/Gray harringbone. Good job, Brixton!

Love the hat and Zappos is the best place to shop. I ordered a size L, I wear a 7 3/8 and have long hair, but it was kind of loose. I wanted to compare the size medium, so I ordered that one and it arrived the very next day! Crazy awesome! Medium fits perfect and will return the Large for free. Now, If I want to buy something I will always check Zappos first, far and away the best place and the service is incredible!

Fits a bit tighter than my Brixtons in the oast

This hat is just “okay” for me. The fit is good and the inside is really soft.

Great style, comfort, fit. Not water resistant. Nice and warm.

I like the style, but the sizing is a little weird and the fabric is cheaper/more floppy than what it appears. I thought it would be more like tweed, but it's just a look alike.

As far as fit and construction, this is a great hat. One thing to note before you buy, however, is that if you're looking for a light, summer-weight fabric like the chambray, you may be disappointed with the rather thick layer of batting sewn in between the lining and outer fabric. Shipping was really fast, though and once I had a tailor remove the lining, this is a great classic driving cap for summer.

This hat is well made, stylish, and comfy. The small was perfect size for me. As far as the color goes, I got the Navy Chambray, it is on the lighter side than what is shown. I wanted the Navy because it looked like it had more of a grey tone to it, but that is not the case. I should mention that it is not a traditional navy. It definitely has some grey in it. Lets say it is a light blueish grey, for those who care about color.

Although I wish it wasn't so thick, it's nice and warm and I really do like this hat and every time I wear it, guys and girls compliment me on how I look in the hat. It is nice and warm and I would say it fits true to size. I ordered a small and medium, but kept the medium. I wear it often, but haven't noticed it stretching any.

Not a bad hat but for me it has a few drawbacks. First, it's a little bulky - I would have preferred crisper lines. I believe this was caused by the next issue: too warm! A lot of stuffing in this one and this thing holds in the heat. With the exception of sitting still - any activity in this hat and I was getting hot. Size was true, good craftsmanship but for too bulky and hot.

This is a beautifully, well tailored hat. I really wanted to like it. The sizing was just off. I first bought a medium for my husband. It was too tight. I returned it and bought a large. It was too big.

The hat is made from very fine materials, but the lining is too big for the hat and it bunches up inside the hat causing it to sit on the head poorly. The liner bunching causes ridges and wrinkles in the outer layer which greatly detracts from the looks and style. I unfortunately wore the hat thinking the liner would settle in and the lumps would disappear -- they did not. As I have worn the hat I cannot return it.

While I like the look of the cap, I am somewhat displeased with its construction - specifically the lining. The cap lining is quilted polyester and appears to be too large for the cap which causes the lining to bunch up inside the cap when worn. So whenever I wear the cap, there is a visible line on top of the outside of the cap which is caused by the lining bunching up. This bunching up of the lining forms a large crease inside the cap. Rather than return the cap I have used a couple of safety pins to pin the extra lining together thus somewhat smoothing the lining out. Shouldn't have to do that. After reading other reviews I expected better quality control, but I guess maybe my expectations were too high for something made in China. I also suggest going to the Brixton website and using their sizing guide if you are unsure about your size.
