I own three pairs.........bought this one, same size.......but for some reason seemed two sizes too small. I returned them and re-ordered this time selecting the Fanning instead hoping the fit is better.

Let me begin by saying that Reef Phantoms were my favorite and only sandal. Over the last several years I purchased and wore out at least 6 pairs. They were comfortable and amazing and the arch support was great. Unfortunately, after my last pair broke a few days ago, I visited a couple local retailers looking for replacements and I was horrified. The new redesigned Phantoms are essentially unwearable. The straps are unbelievably tight. This makes it very hard to put the sandals on and uncomfortable to wear once on. In addition, the arch support (while still decent) seems like it may have been lessened. I'm saddened that Reef turned the best pair of sandals out there into garbage. I'd willingly purchase 10 pairs of the old ones at full price if I could get them.

I bought these for my dad - he's had the same exact pair for at least a year or two and they were good shoes. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this pair. They broke within a week of him wearing them and it wasn't due to anything he did. The sole of the shoe is apparently 2 pieces glued together and it's already separated on his. I have a feeling this is a faulty pair but we won't be buying this style again.

Bought these for my son in July, and the thong between the toes pulled out by August. They are stylish, but really poor quality for Reef and for the high cost. I wouldn't buy these again.

Just terrible, I can't believe how narrow these are. I don't need a wide shoe in any other brand, but these are unwearable in my normal size. These sandals are so narrow it makes me wonder if these were factory rejects that had the straps installed in the wrong position.

I've worn Reefs for years and wouldn't buy anything else. The Reef Phantoms looked closest to my current pair so I ordered them. The size is exactly the same as my current pair, but the "thong" seemed much tighter - and I assumed it would stretch with wear. I wore them in the house for a few days and then ventured out. Within an hour or so the thong had caused a bloody blister my left foot so they are retired to my closet. Maybe I'll try them again when my foot heals.

Buy Reefs - but not this model

Absolutely awful. I wear a size 13 in most shoes; size 14 in a few others. Bought a pair of Reef sandals last year and had to go up to a size 15. Bought the Phantoms this year, again in size 15, and they are horribly uncomfortable in several areas. They are also BARELY long enough for my foot. I basically have to jam my foot in there like I'm putting on a snug penny loafer. This is NOT how a sandal should fit or feel. It's a shame I've walked a couple miles in them already or I would return them in a split second.

Very bulky bottom, and uncomfortable. When you walk in them you will feel it doesn't quite flow like a sandal/shoe should. Pay the extra money to get a better quality Reef sandal.

Why did you mess with what works. Your new sandals have stupid heels and look ridiculous. I've been wearing reefs for 25+ years and the only ones that I like now are the Smooties and they wear out too quickly

I use this product almost every day. There is nothing great about these flipflops, they are the most uncomfortable flipflops i have ever bought. I only wear REEF'S, and I am very unhappy with this product
