I've gotten to the point that I really only care to wear Birkenstocks. I also work 60 hours/week in a restaurant. I've tried many different shoes for restaurant work. I had settled on the Super Birki's for a long time. Great shoe, but still not the true Birkenstock experience. At the end of the day, my feet didn't hurt like they did with every other shoe, but still I really looked forward to slipping on my regular Birk Boston's at the end of the day. I finally ponied up for the Boston Super Grip. I shouldn't have waited. They are just awesome. If you are deciding between the Super Birki's and the Super Grip, just go with the Super Grip. Super Birki's just don't "quite" have that same arch support and feel that regular Birks do. Sure, it's nice that you can just swap out the cork insoles when they where out (as they did for me about every 4-6 months). And the Super Grip actually has a little better grip on wet/greasy floors than the Super Birki's (which are also quite good). Yes, the Super Birki's are nearly twice the cost, but it's for good reason. I can't speak to the Super Grip's longevity in restaurant dealing with long hours and water/grease/chemicals being spilled on them. I haven't had them long enough to know. But I've come to expect great quality from Birks, so they might last awhile. Even if they don't, I don't really care. My feet need them and I can't go back. If they have to be replaced or repaired regularly, that's fine. $150 is a great deal for high performing comfort.

These are horrible! Have worn the Boston Softbed (black) in the hospital for 20 years - they’re excellent!! Recently picked these up w/ the “super grips” and they’re bad, bad. Sent them back and got a new pair of soft beds which I’m happily wearing now.

These definitely aren't sexy red high heels, but they are really, really great. I have swelling in both feet and Achilles tendons due to psoriatic arthritis. These Birk's provide the support I need, along with the room for my toes to swell (without being pinched). And I love the added traction. I primarily purchased these to wear in the house. I spend hours on my feet in my kitchen (when my illness allows). Very happy with my purchase, and the smooth leather allows me to simply wipe off the shoes when I accidentally dribble sauces and batter on them. Highly recommend these. I just wish Birkenstock would eventually make them in a version that's a little more "fun."

A freat looking version of the Boston. The sole made noise on hardwood floors compared to the standard sole. The dealbreaker for me was the squeaking in the right clog, it was unbearable after a week and kept getting worse. Apparently not uncommon with the natural leather.

I have worn Birkenstock Bostons for 20+ years. I love that they have a style made just for professionals. I'm a CT/MR technologist and work 12 hr shifts at level 1 trauma hospital. I'm on my feet a lot and I love them. My teenage sons wear Birks too. If you are not use to the arch support they will feel odd/uncomfortable.

These are amazing! I work in a kitchen but am not into the traditional kitchen clog, I don't like how I feel like I will constantly roll my ankle or slip out of the shoe when running around during a shift. I used to wear a sneaker type "Shoes For Crews" shoe that worked extremely well but they stopped making them and I had to find a new shoe. Lots of research and trying on led me to these. I got them and loved how they looked and felt. They did hurt the first week while breaking in but I had already read that was the case. The other thing was, on the second day of wearing them I brushed on to the side of a step and one of the side buckles came loose and therefore rendering it useless. I reached out to Zappos and they exchanged them for me, no worries at all, I even made sure they knew I had worn them in the kitchen so they looked used and all was fine. Thank you Zappos for your excellent customer service and for introducing me to my new favorite kitchen shoe!

I first bought a 38 after reading some reviews and I had to return them. They were way too big and not comfortable at all. I reordered and will update once they arrive.

These shoes felt great, very supportive like my other Birk's, but the strap area was too loose even at its tightest, so I sent them back.

Lovely. Comfortable, stylish, sleek. It’s hard to find slip on shoes that are modern and minimal and these are simply perfect.

The shoes fit fantastic, and are the best , " no slip " shoes I have ever worn. They really grip, on wet floors and dry floors, on wet tile, dry tile and anywhere in between. Over the last 30 years of cooking, I have tried other Chef shoes, but non compare to Birkenstock. I always come back to Birkenstock .

LOVE THESE SHOES! I am a registered nurse, on my feet all day long, and these shoes are excellent, no tired feet at the end of the day. I have a very high arch, these have excellent arch support and the grip at the toes is what makes them so comfortable. They take one day to get used to walking in (even less). They are not the best looking, but who cares? My feet are very happy at the end of my shift.

Birkenstock Boston Super Grip - I have been wearing Birkenstocks all my life. I find the Boston Clog to be the most comfortable and this Super Grip rubber sole is definitely better for work. I am a Nurse and find them very comfortable and secure. Zappos return policy is great if you do not find them as comfortable as I do.

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for many years and the Super Grip sole feature is a first for me and worth the investment without slipping! This brand never fails.

Unhappy - I have been very disappointed with this pair of Birkenstock's. They are very uncomfortable and I have not been able to "break them in". From watching a shopping channel, I've noticed that you should take them out of the box and flex the soles before wearing. These soles do not flex. Also, the leather upper is not flexible.

I got these for work, and I am still working on trying to get them broken in, so I don't know if they are as comfortable as they will be. I am slightly disappointed that they aren't as comfortable as I expected... I thought I could stand and walk for 12hours w/o a problem, but my back is sore after just a few hours. So far tennis shoes have been the best for working 12hours on my feet.

I love my Boston clog! I bought them for work in the medical field, as I'm walking and on my feet a lot. I love Birk sandals, so decided to try these. I'm not in love with the look of them, but now that I know how comfortable they are, I really don't care. It is an adjustment to wearing Birkenstock, in general. They aren't soft and foamy, but they also provide excellent support. The Boston is the regular width which I also really like because my feet are on the wider side. I bought them, hoping they would last a little longer than the typical 1 year for an expensive tennis shoe. I'm thinking they will last a few years. Overall, happy with my purchase.

I miss read the size in my original shoe. I thought it said 40 and it was 240. 40 was too big so I got a 39. That was also too big. I called and found out that 39 is like 250, so I will look for a 38 or 240 size 7.5 to 8.00 I like. :)
