I have flat feet, and it is hard to find a decent shoe that's comfortable as well as durable. I bought a pair of these around 2003 or so and wore them out over the course of the next three years. I readily bought another pair when the first ones wore out. At some point between the first and second purchases, the quality of these shoes completely disappeared. My new Rockports have a more rigid sole with much less cushioning than the old ones. The rigid sole makes it feel unnatural to walk, and the lack of cushioning makes my feet sore. These shoes were an utter waste of money. I hardly wore them at all. They occupy a dusty corner of my closet now. They made my feet sore even after a few minutes, so I went out and bought another pair of Clarks Natureveldts, which have been fantastic.

Nice looking but uncomfortable - There is something about the insert upon which your foot rests that is very uncomfortable - it's like walking on a lot of tiny bumps. Also found the feel of the shoe hard rather than cushioney when you walk. It was the only pair I brought to Paris for a week, figuring they were Rockports, and new, so they'd be good. They are uncomfortable and boy are my feet sore after walking all over Paris for 7 days.

This is my second pair of the Rockport World Tour Elite. These replace a pair of these shoes I've had for 5 or 6 years and basically just wore them out. These shoes are very comfortable and true to size. I wear a size 10-1/2 in this shoe but I have to buy size 11 in most other shoes. My true size is 10-1/2. Be sure to select the "Elite" version of this shoe. Rockport makes a cheaper version that looks similar but actually look cheap when you see them. I work as a construction engineer and I have to visit a lot of construction sites. These shoes hold up very well to rugged outdoor wear. I recommend them as a good look to wear with Dockers type pants and jeans.

Laces way too long, but otherwise exactly what I was looking for; cool, comfortable and look good! Been buying Rockport shoes for 32 years!

This is one good looking and comfortable shoe. The insoles are supportive and the fit is comfortable. I love that it comes in narrow sizes!!!! The dark finish is perfect for any look.

My husband LOVES the shoes. I gave them To him as a gift for our future trip To Europe. He will be Walking quite a bit and was looking for pair of shoes that could be used during the day and evening. These shoes can be polish easily and will look fine in the evening. He is very happy with them and we're comfortable from day one!

Solid shoe. Always looks great. Great for shining. Perfect for a night out and great for work. Clean lines. Solid fit.

Shoes very comfortable right out of the box. The thick shoe laces can come undone. The finish scuffs easily. Conservative styling.

Brown version of the black shoes I have purchased and worn for decades. The black versions last about 7 years before the soles start getting rigid and reduce the cushion so I replace them but they have lasted as much as 13 years!

Wow, I love these shoes. They work great with casual slacks or jeans. Extremely comfortable with a good roomy toe box. Rockports can be ordered with confidence about the size and fit.

This is a Rockport! We expected a great shoe and we got it! My husband is a doctor and is on his feet all day. These shoes came out of the box and work a full 12 hour day with no problems! We love them!

Great shoe, excellent comfort and appears well made. My only concern is the raised bubble just under the ball of your foot.I understand the intent is for additional cushioning but the effect is that it feels like you have a blister on the ball of your foot.

I am very pleased with my purchase. Having looked at every shoe store in my area for the Rockport model I wanted, my daughter turned me on to Zappos. There they were, and with my size! I am sold on Zappos as the place to buy my shoes. These Rockports are the best shoe for all around comfort and durability.

I love these shoes. They're just stylish enough, stand up to four miles per day of vigorous walking, and are comfortable as can be. Worth every penny.

Excellent shoes! Very comfortable. They have a cushion system from heel to ball of your feet that gives you a nice spring in your step.

Shoes are true to size. Extremely comfortable, and you can wear them with a suit as well as jeans. Shipped very quick. I no longer buy any other shoes but Rockport. I can't match the quality and comfort at the price.

Bottom Line... after some work, I love these shoes. The leather was stiff... worked saddle soap into the uppers and now it is nice and supple. The inserts did not provide enough support... bought Dr. Scholl’s gel work insoles and put them on TOP of the original insoles (I am 6’2” 200#. The toe box etc has enough room to do this. The width was true, but the length was about 1/2 size longer than advertised (fine for me since I’m a 10 1/2 (W) to 11 so I ordered a 10 ½). Fast shipping by Zappos. Hope this helps.

Being my husband wears a 15 size shoe it has been hard to find shoes. About 5 years ago someone told me about Zappos. It has been wonderful. We have bought Rockports for the past 5 years but this time his usual style was out of stock. I bought this style for him. He loves them. He said that they are true to size and has a lot of padding in them. Thanks!

The Rockport World Tour Elite are comfortable. A major requirement for my new shoes is that they do not slip on hard wet surfaces. These shoes appear to meet that requirement and look good, too.

Great shoe. Comfortable and very well made/sturdy. Slightly (less than 1/2 size) larger than marked, which is fine even with thin socks. Mainly a slightly large toe box. Perfect fit when wearing thicker socks for long distance walking (recommend smartwool socks; they're great).
