Excellent shoes. I have had feet, knee, hip and low back issues so I studied hard to find the right walking sandal. I am tall and overweight. In these shoes, I walked all over Paris and the south of France. Good cushioning, great heel and arch protection, and stable. Rotated with Fitflops. Love the style.

I hesitated buying these because they are so expensive but they sounded very comfortable. And I have such bad feet, especially after I got hit in a car accident and crushed my right foot. But these were instantly so comfortable! And I couldn't believe I had them the very next day after I had ordered them from Zappos! I am hoping I can save up a bit so I can buy another pair, maybe in one of the multi-colors (have not seen them yet here). Some people have told me they look clunky but I am really happy with them.

I never thought I could find anything other than Finn Comforts to be able to walk in my shoes and feel comfortable. I have wide feet. Need arch support and have a very high instep. I put these funky little shoes in red on my feet and felt some style and great comfort from the first minute! and, at half the price of my Fins! Great summer shoes!

I wear a 40 narrow in Birkenstock and I needed a pair of sturdy sandals for an upcoming trip. I have narrow feet and lots of foot problems. In the Jewel I wear a 41. It worked great for the trip; I was able to walk for hours in comfort, day after day. I love the colors and the snake print, which give a little bit of an edge to offset the old lady-ish adjustable velcro straps -- I finally caved to them due to my narrow feet. I also love the thick sole; I need a lot of cushion underfoot. It is not as supportive as Birkenstock. The black does rub off onto the sole of the foot -- not that big of a deal in my opinion. Despite its drawbacks, I still give it 5 stars overall because it is so hard for me to find shoes that will fulfill both my wants and my needs. I would purchase the Jewel again.

Love these shoes! A little pricey,but nice to be able to change size of sandal tightness at all places, encases your foot swells up. Very cute also, my first pair of wolky's not my last!I did order a size smaller.

This is the only shoe I wear--year around! This latest color always draws positive comments.

These sandals are delightful, but the high strap caused severe blistering on both my feet. That was six weeks ago, and I still have purple marks and sensitivity where the blisters were. I need to wear my cute yellow sandals with Band-Aids now, but I still receive compliments almost every time I wear them. The footpad is extremely comfortable and worked for me right out-of-the-box. I wear size 10 1/2 to 11 and ordered a 42. Perfect fit. I think that if the manufacturer would add a bit of padding or leather underneath the higher strap, it would solve the problem. I believe that the style works because the color is placed around the edges and across the toe box, but not across the straps. I would not change that. I would just add some softer material; then, for me anyway, they would be perfect in every way. I think I will see a shoemaker to find out if he can do this for me. The little leather dot of color on the ankle is genius -- it's adorable. Thank you Zappos, for your incredible service. You're in a class by yourselves.

I tried this sandal in two different sizes. It is the most uncomfortable sandal!!! The shoe society recommended it, so I thought it was probably the right one. The straps rub, and it is ugly! I have hallux ridgedus, heel spurs, plantar faciitis, bunions, and this shoe is terrible for me. I have the Pichu and it works wonderful. Just ordered two more pairs of the Pichu. The Pichu has a supportive sole, and is not bulky. Can wear it anywhere from a picnic to church.

Saying that a shoe looks comfortable is the ultimate shoe insult. I bought these on a day my feet hurt, thinking they looked comfortable. And they are. The Wolky Jewel is comfortable for walking, even long distances on cobbles. It has fully adjustable straps, a bouncy, cushy sole, and feels solid on the foot. Here's the bonus: They don't look like old lady shoes when they're on. Funky, yes. Old, no. I have them in bright red, and am looking for other bright colors.

The Wolky Jewel should be considered Wolky's flagship shoe style. With 3 adjustments available, it should be comfortable for almost any kind of foot. It provides a bit of height, but is a good walking show. I wear mine all year - with socks in cold weather, barefoot in hot weather. The newest colorful leather is a blast.

The sizing for this shoe is hopelessly wrong. I always wear a European size 42, but this shoe fits more like a size 9 1/2 - 10. Please, Zappos, state more accurate sizing.

First, this is the first time I have ever written a review but I felt compelled to. Secondly, I love this shoe. When I looked at he picture I felt the shoe looked clunky but when I received it...Wow, I love the color. The thickness of the sole makes the shoe that more sturdy and resilient for wear. Lastly, if you have a high instep these shoes will mold to your feet but I do not have a high instep and it took a little getting used to, I had to break them in a bit but once I did, Whoa! The shoe molded to my feet and the fit and comfort is wonderful. I am 5'11 I wear a USA size 12, so I chose the EU size 44 - true to size. Perfect fit.

Because I’m having to find a shoe that allows my injured foot to heal, I must be very picky. I have to have a shoe that has a rigid sole, is narrow, and can accommodate my custom orthotics. The Jewel does all of that. The rigid, thick sole gives me the stability I need. The Wolky medium width is more narrow than mediums from other brands and works for my AA feet. The best thing about the Jewel is that both my orthotics AND my toes can fit into it at the same time, helped by the adjustable straps all over the sandal. I was astonished when I tested the Jewels and my injured foot didn’t object to them. I’ve gone through 6 different pairs of shoes in my search for the right shoe for my demanding foot and was quite surprised that a sandal was a keeper. I’ve also ordered the Wolky Strap Cloggy as a house shoe because my foot liked the Jewel. I am delighted that I don’t have to wear only my Brooks Addiction walkers as my foot heals.

Beautiful sandals, very sturdy sole, and quality construction. I have Hallus Rigidis and this sandal helps keep my toe immobile.

Can't say enough good things about Jewel. I wore my last pair for 6 years before they gave out and they were comfortable until the end. Want one in every color. Amazingly, they fit my 7.5 (left) and 8.0 (right) EE feet (with sky high insteps/arches)! I got the 39 this time rather than 38 and found that to be best for me.

I bought these shoes on a fanciful whim because of the vibrant color. By far, they are the most comfortable shoes I own and look chic with pants of various lengths. The front strap covers the disfigured parts of my toes and the Velcro adjusts the width for comfort. All in all, a great shoe.

Wonderful shoe, incredibly comfortable, but too high a heel for me. Hated to return it, but not worth a broken ankle.

Well. This is it as far as I'm concerned. The most comfortable sandal ever. I need thick cushioned soles that are not as unstable as platforms. These have remarkable cushioning while also being easy to walk it. They're wonderfully adjustable, too. They don't look as "clunky" on as they do in the photo. Don't even think about the price -- worth every cent. Sizing seemed a tad bit off -- they're a little wide compared to length. But of course Zappos makes it easy to exchange sizes as needed.

I love these shoes. So comfortable. I have a high arch; these shoes work for me. I have walked all over NYC in these shoes with no pain. I received compliments on them.

I had high hopes for these shoes, but unfortunately the moderate arch support was not enough for my feet. The soles are very sturdy, the straps are very adjustable. Sorry I had to return them!

The leather of the shoe is very stiff. I cannot understand why it was recommended for Hallux Rigidus. I think most people with this condition also have bone spurs. The strap goes right over the bone spur and joint and is VERY painful. I am SO disappointed. They seemed to have potential. Maybe if the leather was very very soft it would have been ok.

Wolky Jewel is one of the few shoes that fit me and accommodate my bunions. The three adjustable straps are genius - I wear 10 medium and they fit my rather wide feet well. I bought the black shiny croc sandals and they look dressy enough to wear to a wedding, yet still very comfortable. I have two other pairs of Jewels, one of which is showing signs of wear, after over 5 years of frequent use. I would buy more if I could afford to do so. Please put these on sale at some time!!!

I purchased Wolky shoes after foot surgery when my orthopedic surgeon said I could graduate from the post-op walking boot to a stiff soled shoe. He gave me the option of Birkenstocks and Zappos suggested Wolky so I tried both. The Birkenstocks were returned. I plan to wear the Wolky Jewel on our trip to Italy. Do I wish they were a little more stylish, yes, but they are super comfortable and they are stylish.

I absolutely love these shoes because they fit my custom orthotics perfectly. I am very limited to different styles because of my need for orthotic friendly shoes and these fit and have great style. I'll probably buy other colors.
