My husband works construction. The shoes take a little breaking in but after a week of hard wear, he loves them. They are a little heavy and the shoe strings don't match up with the work ability of the shoe. They slip out of tie easily. Buy a better pair and then the shoe works better. Overall the fit was true to size.

I work somewhere that requires steel toes, but I'm not exposed to a bunch of hazards myself. I wanted something comfortable, and so far these have absolutely fit the bill.

Got these thur a work program...got a 11 in but left pinky toe started rubbing...then got an 11 1/2 and that solved all the problems. Have gotten so many compliments on how good this shoe/boot looks. It is so comfortable that even after a 11 hr day on feet i put it back on to go out.

These are great shoes! I have difficulty finding safey shoes that are comfortable and light weight. I had to exchange for half a size larger and they are very comfortable!

Thus far I love the PRO line, I even like these shoes but while the size is right in length and width the steel toe feels narrow after several hours of use. I have had great luck thus far with the Timberland PRO line of boots. I thought I would give these shoes a try. Ordered them in the same size as I've worn with their boots. The shoes themselves fit fine in length and even width but it's almost like the steel toes that are installed are for a regular width or even narrow width shoe. I didn't even notice there was an issue until a day of wearing them. By the end of the day both of my next to littlest toes were a bit sensitive on their outside from rubbing the edge of the steel toe. They're fine for wearing short term and they seem to be built well. I'll have to give sizing a closer look the next time.

The wide are not wide enough. It feels like your toes are in a box. Other than that I'm very pleased.

Very comfortable after buying $35 insoles. But bottom sole didn't last long before it cracked and they are not waterproof any longer.

I bought this shoe because it was offered in a wide fit.If anything the fit is for a narrow foot..I checked the box and the shoe itself to make sure it was the wide fit I ordered and it was marked as such..Completely disappointed in this product..

Purchased via work plan. Ordered shoes without fitting, which I knew would be a problem but my company buys my shoes so...they arrived. Tried them on felt like most new shoes, foot had room. Thought they would be okay. Wore to work the next day...an hour in to the shift the sides of my toes (widest point) where wore raw. I found as you walk and your foot pressure shifts my foot had no room to expand in the steel toe. I ended up returning, then purchase a similar shoe on my own at a local shoe store...Timberland Pro Hyperion, with the XL alloy safety toe, now that is how it should fit...buy a wide shoe get a wide safety toe.

These are really comfortable work shoes from the moment I put them on, then six months later cracked bottom like everyone else. I think everyone agrees these are awesome shoes but TIMBERLAND NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING TO FIX THESE. I dont want them scrapped, just a notice from timberland saying we fixed it. They have known of the problem for a long time and do nothing !!! Timberland u have a great shoe and would have many repeat customers if u would just fix the soles. What are u going to do about it??? Fix it, please and i will buy many pairs from u.
