These are now made in Brazil, and have the high quality look and feel like the older Rockports used to about 10 years ago. Over the last 5 years they were rough leather on the inside that would stain my socks when they got even the littlest bit wet. These new ones don't do that, look great, and feel fantastic with socks or barefoot. I wear these as boat shoes on a sailboat, and the razor cut grip is nice and sticky, the way a true boat shoe should be.

High quality shoes for a reasonable price. Rockport consistently makes the best inexpensive shoes, well built and long lasting. Above all, I buy them because they offer narrow width and because theirs is a true narrow (B), not a C like Dunham's. Sperry doesn't even offer narrows at all. This particular model is one of the few narrow men's boat shoes on the market. And Rockport's style and finish are superior to Sperry's.

I use Size 14 4E shoes. Zappos is one of the few places that carries this size. The Rockport boat shoes fit perfectly and were reasonably priced.

Third pair - they are great and last well. As I get older an option for more arch support would be good! I wore Sperry Topsiders for many years, but had to stop because of the lack of arch support.
