These are the most comfortable pumps I've found. I have problems finding a shoe that fits, as I have a high instep, wide foot, but narrow heel, and I have a neuroma in each foot which causes me pain in the ball of my foot. After trying many styles (thanks Zappos for making it so easy to shop!) I tried these, and although I'm not pain free, they are definitely the best I've found. The sole is flexible, padded, and even has a moderate arch support built in. The wide width is wide enough (not overly wide) - and the shoe actually cups my heel so they don't slip up and down like so many wide width shoes do. I would definitely recommend them.

I have to be honest, as a Private Pilot, Aircraft owner, and Aircraft Dispatcher. The first thing that really caught my eye was simply the word pilot! But seriously I've only worn patent leather in ROTC and CAP back in the day, I was never too crazy about it. I appreciate the time and care in shining your own shoes, but hey. I was looking for something attractive that I could walk all day in, since I work long, long fast paced shifts at local airports. I normally avoid heels, because I'm tall and because I don't appreciate the pain they can be. After some serious research and shopping I bought a pair of these Rockport, because this company seems to have a lot of good feedback. There is a little padding on the ball of the foot/toes, and the heel. There is also a little for the arch, but it's more just comfort than arch support. Overall these are the most comfortable heels I've worn, I'm a medium-wide foot so this is something I don't find myself saying often about heels! The first time I tried them they were great for a few hours, then I was sore for a few hours following that. It wasn't the shoes making me sore, it was the way I was walking in them. Once I re-learned how to walk (since I've never been good in heels) no problems! I forget I'm wearing them! I highly recommend these. Professional, feminine, and I love them...but I'll never recommend flying in heels!

These are good looking shoes that are comfortable. I have narrow heels, and these shoes did not slip in the heel. I have tried lots of heels; these ones worked.

I have owned a pair of Rockport, and let me tell you they are the most comfortable shoes ever including orthopedic shoes! I worked 2 jobs and I stood 8 hrs for the second one and rockports feel like houseshoes, and when they finally wore out I took the sole out and put them in another shoe! I LOVE ROCKPORT..when I can afford them.

These shoes are so sexy, sophisticated and comfortable. I wish they had them in more colors. I am 60 and heels are always a worry when I am dressing up. Usually when I wear heels, I have to crawl to the car, crawl into the event and then sit the whole time until I have to reverse the process to go home. Finally I am able to look forward to being able to wear comfortable heels and being able to move around the entire time.
